#WATCHVIDEO:MP Aga Ruhullah on Budgam case says, “This is a decline in our humanity. It is unfortunate such incidents are increasing. Society needs self-correction, and police and judiciary must act to prevent such crimes and ensure fear of law.”

The brutal killing of a 12-year-old girl in Galwanpora, Budgam has shaken the conscience of our society. Such incidents are deeply disturbing and have left people in grief and outrage.
Honb’le MP Aga Syed @RuhullahMehdi visited Galwanpora today to express solidarity with the bereaved family and share in their grief during this painful time.
Our children deserve safety, dignity and protection. The pain of this tragedy is being felt by every sensitive heart today.
We urge the authorities to ensure a swift, transparent and time-bound investigation so that the truth is brought out and those responsible are held accountable under the law.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the child.
Today’s developments in Ladakh reaffirm what Aga Syed @RuhullahMehdi has long maintained: people’s aspirations cannot be addressed through silence, but through political resolve and honest representation.
Ladakh has now been promised safeguards for land, jobs, culture, and local identity, exactly the kind of protections people of J&K have been demanding.
The people of Jammu & Kashmir gave a clear mandate for these rights. The question is: when will that mandate be used for what it was truly given?

Srinagar MP questions encroachment drive in Jammu; alleges democracy being replaced by dictatorship.
Demolishing homes of Gujjar-Bakarwal families in Sidhra, many on electoral rolls since 1952, without notice or due process is indefensible. The land is reportedly revenue, not forest. Affected families must be rehabilitated and those responsible held accountable.
So we have fallen to the level where Chief Justice calls those who question the government cockroaches and parasites.
One whose only job is to deliver justice calls those who seek justice cockroaches.
Dear CJP @CJP_2029 , I volunteer.
The process remains open for public suggestions on developmental works under MPLADS across the 18 Assembly segments of the Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency.
From healthcare infrastructure and ambulances to urgent community needs, your suggestions can help shape impactful public projects.
Send your suggestions via email at: [email protected]
We’ve disbursed over ₹5,00,00,000 in MPLADS funds for developmental works this past year.
As per party precedent and discipline, these funds were traditionally allocated on the recommendations of constituency incharges appointed by the party, some of whom now serve as MLAs. (Some Constituency incharges have still not sent the demand list for their segments).
That changes now. Since most of the constituency incharges are MLA now.
We’re opening the process to the people themselves. We’re inviting suggestions for 18 public projects, one for each Assembly segment that falls under the Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency.
With a limited budget of ₹5 crore, we can take up 18 impactful works from Critical Care Ambulances to hospital equipment and other urgent community needs.
Share your suggestions with the Office of Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi via DMs, comments, or email.
Your priorities will shape these 18 projects.
A day after Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said nobody is being forced to consume liquor, MP @RuhullahMehdi said liquor outlets themselves should not exist, asserting that shutting shops would automatically block access to alcohol.

#WATCH || “Since becoming Chief Minister in 2024, @OmarAbdullah has only ‘burst’ on the people of Jammu and Kashmir. I hope this time the cloudburst is directed
towards those in power at the Centre, against whom people voted democratically and institutionally,” MP @RuhullahMehdi on Omar Abdullah’s remarks in Tangmarg that he would “burst like a cloudburst” after Eid.

Hon’ble Member of Parliament Aga Syed @RuhullahMehdi extends his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Bangalore and Alipore.
He expresses that it was a socially enriching and truly spiritual experience interacting with people, particularly during his visit to Jama Masjid Bangalore and across Alipore.
He sincerely thanks the people for the warmth, affection, and gracious reception extended to him throughout his visit.
Declaring Jamia Siraj-ul-Uloom “unlawful” under UAPA is the latest act in a calculated dismantling of Kashmir’s civic life.
This is a school of 800+ students affiliated with the J&K Board, that has produced doctors, scholars, and professionals from homes that could never afford private education. Sealed by a divisional commissioner’s two-page order.
The pattern is unmistakable. Trusts, mosques, libraries, and now seminaries serving underprivileged children, every social and non-governmental institution that holds Kashmiri society together is being strangled.
