This is actually a great example how how addiction spreads.
An addict copes with their decision to continue abusing a substance by rationalizing why it is actually good for them. When a friend, coworker, or otherwise acquainted person displays any of the negative symptoms-
Haven’t been on here in a long time, but seeing @grok profess Christ is King made me wonder if ChatGPT would do the same. I did my best to not influence its answer.
“My best guess is yes.”

@AbrogateDeez@JACKDGIRL@DonutOperator If you just said, “the profession is full of arrogant, type A, selfish personalities that directly compete and influence the opposing service-driven population. A lot of times telling the difference can be impossible” I would ONE HUNDRED percent be backing you lol.
@AbrogateDeez@JACKDGIRL@DonutOperator Cops win 97% of the firefights they know they’re getting into (IE, not ambushed).
Escalation is a very broad term since technically just our presence is an escalation, so you’re right that escalation happens more with LE but the application seems bias.
@JasonIn93731832 @SomeDudeGA @DonutOperator Leg graze probably from a ricochet. “Treated on scene” means it wasn’t even a hospital trip, which means the damage was hilariously minor.
Given the scenario it was actually extremely clean. Not many guys could rush a handgun, gain control of it, use it offensively, and not die.
@ArmyVet02 @JFG0995@insanereality Don’t speak on topic you’re so horrifically uneducated about and you won’t get so embarrassed so swiftly in the future ❤️
@ArmyVet02 @MetalFag@JFG0995@insanereality In the military, do you think your life isn’t expendable?
If you think that, you’re stolen valor. You never served. Using experience you don’t have to make an argument you’re ignorant is pathetic.
Go touch grass.
@ArmyVet02 @JFG0995@insanereality I’m not reading past “total homo.” You announced your loss that quickly.
RoE is dependent on what your orders are. “Kill everyone in that thatch hut” can be RoE. Using RoE as an argument here is smooth brain activity and you should be embarrassed.
@ArmyVet02 @MetalFag@JFG0995@insanereality The military can order you to die.
If you’re ordered to lay on a mine and have someone else crawl over you, you do it.
Applying the military standard of “what should I do, sarge” to the well established statutory or case law requirements for Use of Force stateside is asinine.
@ArmyVet02 @JFG0995@insanereality Trying to apply to military standards of “rules of engagement” to civilian law enforcement is cringe af. Military ROE changes based on orders. LE is based on 4A, statute, and case law.
If your only barometer to speak on this is military service, don’t.
@BillyHoWCR@JFG0995@insanereality So technically he was covered on at least two legal fronts on the entry.
This video is actually a great example of why the latter is applicable too. Had he not entered, the suspect could’ve started firing from a window, barricaded, etc. Quick action prevented unnecessary loss.
@BillyHoWCR@JFG0995@insanereality Entires can get complicated.
You need a warrant to conduct a search. But this obviously wasn’t a search.
If she allowed him inside(she did), it’s good.
If he had sufficient probable cause to believe a crime was taking place and he needed to secure the scene(he did), he’s good.
@FrozenBurst64 @Crumbsdeleted @___J__a__k__e__@insanereality For residences they need probable cause and to obtain a warrant to conduct a “search,” per se.
But not all entries are searches. This wasn’t a search. He had adequate probable cause to enter the residence in order to secure the active scene and conduct the investigation.
@Crumbsdeleted @___J__a__k__e__@insanereality There’s a distinction to be made between that and them conducting a search of the home. Residential searches require a warrant.
But securing a residence under these circumstances isn’t a search under the 4th Amendment.
@Crumbsdeleted @___J__a__k__e__@insanereality A child called 911 saying dad was beating mom.
That probable cause in itself gives them the authority to secure the scene.
This video is actually a great example of why that is. If he hadn’t entered, the suspect could’ve become barricaded and a more intense firefight occur.
@___J__a__k__e__@insanereality -Wifebeating drunk drinks and beats wife.
-Cops show up when their child calls.
-Drunk wifebeater grabs an AR-15 in response.
-Drunk wifebeater attempts to order police out of house while holding AR-15.
The alternative to immediate force is a barricaded suspect and shootout.
