As international HIV and SRHR funding becomes more competitive and uncertain, it's increasingly imperative that grassroots organisations become more creative and adaptive in their resource mobilisation strategies.
HIV-related hate speech harms.
It starts small: a rumour, a judgment, a throwaway comment.
But it spreads shame, silence, and fear.
On International Day for Countering Hate Speech —and every day—speak up.
Speak out. Stop the hate.

"My current role has transitioned me to an advocacy space, and what led to where I am now is the idea of the African-led HIV control working group, which I am part of the secretariat for. The basic idea is to push for an African-led HIV response. We have the experience, and we know how, compared to other parts of the world, our dynamics differ, and the time is now for Africa to step up and lead the response, drive the agenda and lead the innovation that will enable us to reach the 2030 target and beyond." @ForeverMumbi , @HIV_CWG

Transforming perceptions. Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U) is a vital public health message for the HIV response. It means that people living with HIV who achieve an undetectable viral load through consistent antiretroviral treatment and monitoring cannot transmit HIV.
By spreading awareness of U=U, we challenge misconceptions surrounding HIV transmission and promote understanding.
