Imagine thinking I didn’t already have a graphic comparing first year starters under Heupel as well…
Last in pass ypg, total touchdowns, and yards per attempt of every first year starter under Heupel since 2016z
@Nic_Iamaleava@on3 I hope you understand the situation you’ve put your son in while being apart of his “camp”. I hope you realize he needs a professional agent. We all wish Nico could have made the right decisions for himself - as his father, your words & advice carry a lot of weight. Do better.
Say what you want about his play, but he transferred here, then lost his starting job. Didn’t whine, didn’t complain, didn’t transfer. He stuck it out. Never heard any foolishness from this guy. THAT is a Vol. 🍊
It sounds like Nico was stringing us along and planning on screwing us after the spring transfer portal
Other schools got wind he was shopping himself pretty hard and tipped us off
Complete snake
What I mean about Nico Iamaleava: Imagine being 20 years old, and the ONLY thing you can do to save your own face is throw your own father under a bus.
Who's throwing their dad under a bus? I wouldn't. I wouldn't at 42, let alone 20.
That's absolutely a part of this story.
So these cats were trying to blindside Tennessee, Dan Lanning calls Heup to let him know, Tennessee drops the story just to piss in their cheerios?
They were trying to back Tennessee into a corner so Tennessee just kicked them right in the pecker.
I got that story right?🤣
NEW: Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel to @Brent_Hubbs on Nico Iamaleava's departure:
“At the end of the day, no one is ever bigger than the program... We move forward. Got a great group. Let’s go compete.”

I keep seeing the Nico defenders use the term “fair market value”.
4 mil is not standard for every QB. This is a results based business. Based on Nico’s performance, he’s about a 1.5-2.5 mil market value. He’s paid adequately.
Also, he was overpaid the year he made $2 mil to not play. 🤷♂️
