On Monday 5 November RAF Coningsby began its annual Remembrance celebrations with the opening of the Station Memorial Garden.
Wreathes were laid by Station Commander, Group Captain Flewin, other station personnel, Councillor Martin Foster of Coningsby and local school children.

My father flew B29s when they were stationed in the UK as Washingtons. He’s the one leaning against the landing gear. We visited Duxford on his 75 birthday to sit him in one again. @CWHM
