I heard of a woman who died before the husband who she was looking after in the hospital.
Government should setup Monitoring Team to confirm or dispute my points. I believe something can be done. Attention should not be on only the patient but also the caregivers.
...\Have they sent you to buy Needle 💉 before, in the hospital? They have "6 inches" but wants to use "3 inches" and you must buy it.
Have you just returned from the Pharmacy and they send you back to buy one more thing that they forgot to include on the list?
I have seen women who became sick themselves after taking care of sick persons in the hospital.
I know of a woman who is suffering from stroke, months after staying in the hospital with her sick daughter.
Have you experienced the "go here, go there" of a caregivers? Pray that you don't have a long stay in Government hospital. Doctor gives prescription, you go to one side to get it costed, go to another side to get the drug, or you have to go outside the hospital to buy the items.
Women should not suffer because they are natural caregivers. Hospitals should help matters.
Women take care of the families at home, and when a family member is sick in the hospital, it is also women that stay with them (most times) throughout the period of admission.
Another issue. When a woman gives birth in the hospital, if the baby is admitted in the Intensive Unit, the hospital has no space for the mother. It is funny when the mother is discharged to go home yet her child is still there.
