Therein lies the issue that has plagued Messi his whole career. The idea of talent vs hardwork.

Ronaldo is the more talented human being based on what he has in his game.

He has always had above average speed, height, shot power, jump power are all talents that hardwork can only refine. And he developed an elite eye for goals.

Messi has his immense talents too, but we have also watched him develop a lot of what he has in his game too.

I can understand having respect for what one player has achieved, but saying more respect because the other has had career assists downplays the insane work Messi has put in, and continues to put in.

Could Ronaldo have done what Messi did at Inter Miami? World Cups? Copa? And I’m not even just talking about wining them, consistently dragging his teams to finals.

Anyways, I had left this topic before, but you’re my guy so e Dey pain me to hear you say it as a neutral.
