During my NYSC year, I taught a wealthy man's son at home.
He paid me for the first three months. From the fourth month, nothing. The fifth month, nothing. The sixth month, nothing.
Every month came with another ridiculous excuse. His wife's mother had died. He had just paid his brother's school fees in the UK. Excuse after excuse.
Meanwhile, his seven-year-old daughter would excitedly tell me how Daddy took them out, bought them chicken, and spoiled them with gifts.
After four months without pay, I stopped going. I couldn't keep spending money on transportation to work for free.
One Sunday, I discovered he attended my same Church I attended during my service year. He was even a church leader who sat in the front row.
I tried to avoid him so he wouldn't feel embarrassed seeing me.
Then the church announced a fundraising project.
The same man who couldn't pay my ₦20,000 monthly salary donated ₦500,000!
Five hundred thousand naira!
I sat there, humiliated and shocked. He could donate half a million publicly but couldn't pay me for work I did.
Through him, I eventually met the state governor. So, it wasn't that he lacked money or connections. He simply chose not to pay me.
Till today, he owes me four months' salary. I begged for my hard-earned money even after NYSC until I eventually gave up.
The person I pitied most was his cook, who often begged me for transport money to get home.
Some wealthy people will donate millions in church, shout Amen, and sit in the front row while deliberately withholding their workers' salaries.
Since then, if you like donate millions in public, I won't clap for you because your "colleague" is still owing me, and I believe you're owing your workers too.
Wickedness!

Hoping for a Dhamakedar Trailer from #LaxmanUtekar 💥
Even before the shoot began i was so invested in the making of #Eetha even when people didn’t believe it was happening. And now it feels surreal that we’re so close to its theatrical release.I still have some unseen BTS videos and pictures of Shraddha and Randeep

@ShraddhaKapoor - Go and Kill it 🔐
If this movie was made in any other language
The entire reviewer critics cabal of Telugu would celebrate it as magic realism and poetic justice for one of most tragic era in Indian history which was forgotten by our history books
And Rashmika and VD romance would be hailed one of best acts in movies
But since it is made in Telugu
The 🤡 killed what I can call as best movie in 2026 in Telugu and best first half of Indian cinema this year
What a movie - 3-10 of pure magic
It is narrated as burra katha the local traditional story telling in Telugu states where they narrate local history and heroes in inspirational and magical story
So if u apply that lens u will understand what Rahul Sankrityan was telling about local resistance in rayala seema to British atrocities
A must watch for any Indian to know what price our ancestors paid to build those railways and what to tell some clowns who tell British gave railways
JUST IN 🚨:
Trailer 1 of #ShraddhaKapoor starrer #Eetha has been censored UA 16+ today, with a runtime of 2 minutes and 58 seconds! ✅🔥
The anticipation for this one is on a whole different level! Keeping our fingers crossed that the trailer gets attached to #Ramayana in theatres on November 5. 🤞🏻🏹
Non-violence is a Gandhian idea. Hinduism always gave importance to self-defence. In fact, doing your duty well, without seeking the fruits of your actions, even if you are on a battlefield, is more sacred than anything else, as per Geetha.
Martial arts and war strategies are very much part of Hindu philosophy and even the avatars of Gods in our scriptures are warrior kings. The focus is on self-defence or righteous causes (as per your own judgement) and not to eliminate those who believe in a different idea. There is no concept of non- believers as Hinduism accepts even atheism as a different school of thought within itself.

Less noise, more impact. Isn't it time Shraddha Kapoor received the recognition she deserves? 🤔
Her next film, #Eetha , will see her in a leading role. Let's see what she brings to the table this time! 👀
I was interviewing a young lady this morning who graduated with a Second Class Lower degree. She insisted that she was smart.
I then asked her, “If you are smart, why did you graduate with a Second Class Lower?”
She suddenly broke down in tears.
I asked her why she was crying, and she explained that she lost her mother in her first year at university and her father in her second year.
The emotional trauma affected her concentration, and she struggled to complete her education while dealing with the pain of losing both parents.
I will give her a chance to prove herself.
But this experience has left me with a troubling question:
Does our education system make adequate provisions for young people who go through such devastating experiences?
How many brilliant young people have we written off because their grades failed to reflect their true abilities, without ever asking what they went through?
