A man’s capacity to cultivate ruthlessness in his choices will not suddenly cure a chronic scarcity of viable options available to him within any given market, all things presumed equal.

It just now means that he has developed the capacity to spot and quickly discard crap whenever he comes into contact with it, and so is now thrown into the pool of men fighting for even scarcer available resources.

Ruthlessness will not suddenly create fitness for purpose in scarce options where there was little present to begin with.

So from a structural and game theory perspective, this advice you people keep giving each other on here is largely untenable and cannot scale.
