We’re entering the final phase of the @SuperteamNG Solana Bootcamp at @blockfuselabs
The next few weeks are focused on ideation, product thinking and serious project building.
No more just learning concepts.
Now it’s time to build real solutions
The @ethereumfndn formal verification timeline ends at the consensus client layer in 2027. I'm not waiting. I've spent the last while building a mental model for formal verification and Lean4 before writing a single line of code.
Here's what I learned and where I'm headed. 🧵
Gean just started participating in its first devnet run.
Today we synced with devnet-3 alongside other lean consensus clients.
Here are some of the notable improvement and implementations tested in devnet-3
Built a simple simulation of how a banking system works using JavaScript classes
Working on projects like this helps strengthen my understanding of object-oriented programming and how real systems can be modeled with code.
The goal is to keep improving and getting better
One highlight of my JavaScript journey last week was tackling a challenge on freeCodeCamp! 🌟 It covers the basics and is perfect for beginners looking to understand JavaScript. Check it out: https://t.co/XVtdathPNV
Congratulations to us at @blockfuselabs 🎊🎊
We just won two awards, Ecosystem Impact Award and Event of the Year (@prodfest) award at the Nigeria Web3 @Web3Nigeria Awards 2025, sponsored by @EmergingEconomy.
This is proof that real impact is being built here @blockfuselabs and Africa at large.
For developers who don’t just learn, they ship.
For cohorts focused on execution, not hype.
For African builders solving real problems with real tools.
African Web3 innovation isn’t “up next.”
It’s already here, and it’s working.
This win belongs to our students, mentors, partners, and community who chose depth over noise.

At @blockfuselabs , we’ve spent the last few months studying the Lean Consensus specification @leanEthereum and training protocol developers to reason about simple, verifiable systems.
Now we’re taking the next step.
The engineers at @blockfuselabs are building @geanclient, a Lean @ethereum consensus client inspired by the Lean Consensus (Beam Chain) proposal introduced by @drakefjustin during his @EFDevcon Bangkok 2024 talk.[https://t.co/HIDXiBXI0f]
Our goal is to build a consensus client that is simple, readable, elegant, and resilient, code that anyone can read, understand, and maintain for decades to come. A codebase developers genuinely enjoy contributing to. That’s why we chose Go.
We follow a lean development approach inspired by @ethlambda_lean , another lean Ethereum consensus client being built by @class_lambda .
@geanclient is being developed in the open and is currently led by @devlongs_ .
You can learn more here: https://t.co/hGS03l7KQV
More updates coming soon, including progress reports, deeper technical notes, and contributions back to the specification.
Go and give us a star on github[https://t.co/hGS03l7KQV] and follow us here [@geanclient]
This year, one of our core goals is building and contributing critical protocol infrastructure.

The Closing Ceremony of @blockfuselabs Cohort III happened today, proudly sponsored by @basedwestafrica.
Three standout projects, all built on @base, emerged as winners and each team walked away with ₦350,000 for their innovation & excellence
The future of Africa is bright
What is base .
Are closing the gap by bringing in more people to onchain. Base is for everyone and it is a reliable platform. Base support builder through grants, technical support and hackathons. @BasedWestAfrica @blocfuselabs
