Before Christianity reached the Nile Valley, Kemet had already developed spiritual traditions, sacred texts, temples, and concepts of the divine for thousands of years.
History didn’t begin with Christianity. Study what came before it.
I’m not saying don’t respect Christianity. It has brought discipline, morality, faith, and purpose to millions of people.
What I am saying is don’t dismiss the ancient spiritual systems that existed thousands of years before Christianity and helped shape the cultural world Christianity later emerged within.
Respect what came after. But don’t erase what came before.

“Slavery was so long ago.”
Slavery ended in 1865.
That was only 161 years ago.
Put that in perspective:
Two 80-year-old lifetimes takes you almost all the way back to slavery.
And it didn’t suddenly become equal in 1865.
Segregation was still legal within the lifetime of people walking around today.
So when you say “that was so long ago”…
It really wasn’t.
And the system didn’t just disappear.
It adapted.
New rules. New methods. Same advantage.
My goal isn’t to convert anyone.
It’s to encourage people to research for themselves.
Don’t believe something just because your parents believed it.
Don’t reject something just because someone on the internet said to.
Study.
Question.
Think.
Between 3800–3100 BCE, Nubia was already organized, wealthy, and ruled by elites.
Archaeologists call this the A-Group culture.
We may not know their names yet…
but we can see their power in what they left behind.
Keith Terrell sits down with cultural historian Anthony Browder for a powerful conversation on the true roots of religion — tracing how the spiritual teachings of Kemet laid the foundation for faith and consciousness long before the rise of organized religions.
