We hit 1M subscribers on Youtube. It was such a long journey with ups and downs. I want to thank my 15-year-old self for never doubting myself, for always believing in myself, and for getting what I dreamed. We did it, girl. WE DID IT. Wait for the 1M subs video.
@tferriss I feel like it's also happening in the educational YouTube space as well. The self-improvement genre is almost dead. Everyone in the space either became a "how to make money" guru or switched their niche.
I want to quit using Spotify I'm so sick of the Spotify algorithm repeating the same 4-5 songs over and over again. Are there any good open-source alternatives? 🤔
Claude designed me a YouTube thumbnail in a few minutes that I'd actually use.
Thumbnails decide if a video does well and have always been my biggest bottleneck, they take hours. I hired someone just for this.
Gave it the video context and past examples, and in few minutes it made this. Pretty wild
Testing it against my original now.
Your phone is making your "ADHD" worse #adhd
Even WITH diagnosed ADHD, the days I overconsume short-form, my hyperactivity and impulsivity go through the roof.
Cut the phone time first - you'll rule out half your "symptoms."
The reason you think you have ADHD:
Social media feeds you relatable content and your brain cherry-picks what fits. It's called confirmation bias. That's why you should never self-diagnose yourself.
ADHD is the opposite of being Japanese.
In Japan, ADHD carries a weight it doesn't in the West.
It's everything Japanese social structure isn't built for.
That's why I fought my own diagnosis.
As I build my own 2nd brain 🧠 on Obsidian using @karpathy ‘s wiki idea, it suddenly dawned on me - one day when we r gone, our kids could inherit an interactive map to your mind, passion, obsessions, work, fascinations…
It’s kind of beautiful way to think abt your 2nd 🧠.
Why "Just Do It" is the WORST advice for your brain
Telling yourself to just do it sounds simple. But your brain doesn't work that way.
Here's what behavioral activation research actually says about getting started when you're stuck.
