Let’s be loud about this #EndSARS campaign. We cannot be shouting #BlackLivesMatter and pretend Nigerians are not black enough!
Let’s be heard together!
Hello @LCFC
I’m Olaogun, a winger also played as a striker from Nigeria. I’ve spent the last 3 years training daily to get one shot at professional football.
I’m not asking for a contract. I’m asking for 7 days on trial to show you what I can do. If I’m not good enough, I’ll walk away with no hard feelings.
I’m fast, direct, and I work harder than anyone on the pitch.
My highlights are here: https://t.co/nD68FCLsMn
Thanks,
Olaogun

From the Lecture Halls of Legon to the Moon: Celebrating Christina Koch
I join the University of Ghana and the entire nation in celebrating NASA Astronaut Christina Koch on her historic membership of the Artemis II mission.
It is a point of immense pride to learn that Christina, the only woman on this pioneering lunar mission, was once an exchange student at our very own University of Ghana during the 1999/2000 academic year.
Her time at Legon was not just a passing visit; she truly immersed herself in our culture and heritage. By studying the History of Ghana, the History of Africa, Rural Sociology, Music, and even Twi for Beginners, she built a foundation of global citizenship right here in Accra.
Her gesture of hoisting the Ghanaian flag in outer space was a deeply touching moment for every Ghanaian. It is a testament to the fact that no matter how far one travels, even into the vastness of space, the friendships made and the lessons learned stay with you.
Christina’s journey from the classrooms of the University of Ghana to the frontiers of space exploration serves as a powerful inspiration to every young Ghanaian. It reminds us that our educational institutions continue to produce and shape global leaders who break barriers and reach for the stars.
On behalf of a proud nation, I wish Christina Koch and the entire Artemis II crew godspeed on your return journey to earth. May your success continue to inspire generations across Ghana, Africa, and the world to believe that there's no height that is insurmountable.
Congratulations, Christina.
Ghana is proud of you!
Dear Honorable Minister of Health,
With utmost respect, I would like to express my confidence in my ability to locally produce and supply 1,000 hospital beds within the next three months. I kindly request the opportunity to be considered for this contract. Thank you 🙏
"Sometimes, the place you're used to is not the place you belong"
While watching this movie in 2017 and it got to this point. I paused the movie and pondered upon the line for minutes.
Yesterday was all smiles and laughter when I surprised one of @cavemanwatches ’ most loyal and hardworking employees. Not too long ago I was on the other side of the employment table so I know how hard it is. As entrepreneurs, we should know how lucky and blessed we are to have dedicated workers because that’s the foundation of the entire business.
When the employees grow, the company grows. When the company grows, the employees must grow along with it.
Help me say, Thank You Collins.
Almost 2 years on and we are yet to jail the DCEs or Ministers involved in Galamsey? There’s no better legacy to leave behind if we still can’t fight Galamsey decisively in 2026! Enough of the talk, let’s see some REAL actions, Mr. President
I will grant Amnesty to people convicted of Galamsey because those who are imprisoned for Galamsey are not the actual perpetrators of Galamsey….
If somebody must be imprisoned, it must be the DCE’s and ministers who are doing the Galamsey not the people they are employing.

September 2021 — we were told we couldn’t have children.
December 2022 — I asked her to be my wife.
September 2023 — we got married, on the same day she lost her mother 13 years earlier.
After 6 heartbreaking miscarriages over the years, in 2025 we became pregnant again.
Through every challenge, every loss, and every tear, our journey is a testimony of resilience, faith, and hope.
God is the greatest ❤️✨
In the light of the tragic events of the past week and our media coverage of same, I implore the GJA to please organize training for media personnel and bloggers on ethical reporting that also respects our cultural values. We need to be more sensitive 🙏🏾
@gyaigyimii It’s not about whether people like it or not. This is long overdue.
There is no reason why you should pay training allowances for professions you have trained more than enough and they’re left to “rot” at home after training.
Trainee allowances have outlived their relevance.
@JDMahama@MBawumia The over 1M voters that sent you packing in 2016 have brought you back. Be reminded that Ghanaians will punish you and your party if you take them for granted.
You have promised Ghana a new presidency … May God be your help 🙏🏾 Take us into the future! Congratulations Sir🎉
Me I dey wonder how parents dey feel if them rec say “ei my kiddie get head o”Because Peter Appiah Thompson like this, BECE best candidate in central region, he was in the quiz team then, also head boy. Goes to Mfantsipim, head boy again, wins NSMQ as a vital team member. Ei?
@bthompsonaddo@OKCephas@thenanaaba@NAkufoAddo These public officials you talk about are accountable to the President. Most of them are incompetent and would literally do nothing unless the orders from above. The President owes the people a duty to fire incompetent officials.
People are HUMANS first… before Race, Gender, Sexual Orientation and anything else you choose to project ahead of their HUMANITY.

Personally, I believe one person cannot be the sole founder of a country.
Just as it is with many countries, Ghana was founded by the collective effort of several individuals and groups.
But just as it is with other countries also, there’s always that one person destined to lead the charge at that watershed moment.
In Ghana’s case, Nkrumah led the charge.
There’s enough deep-rooted and unmistakable documentary evidence to support this view. The debate has lingered for over half a century but the facts remain unshaken. No amount of spin has changed and would change that.
Biblically, several Israel leaders had fought enslavement even before Moses was born.
But it is Moses who is indubitably known to have led them out of Egypt. In the 40 years in the wilderness, I suppose he wasn’t the only one in command but he led it, and he hold the recognition. Doesn’t make the others contribution immaterial. These things I believe, are destined.
Mandela is variously referred to as Madiba (Father) of South Africa not because he’s the only that fought and liberated South Africa from apartheid. Some others were imprisoned longer than he was.
Destiny said he’d be the one. Same for Lee Kuan Yew, Julius Nyerere, Jomo Kenyatta, Kaunda etc for modern day Singapore, Tanzania, Kenya and Zambia respectively.
Nkrumah is ours. There’s no contest for equal equal recognition.
God bless the toil of all our forefathers and make our nation great and strong.
