@nielsonTSN1260@KevinMcL_1963 McDavid, the PK and PP will all get rolling. My main concern is goal tending.
Ingram has a 4.03 GAA (14th of 16) and an .855 Sv% (15th of 16) after 2 games while getting 4 goals/gm of goal support. We just dont know what to expect from him in high pressure games.

After two runs to the Finals, our head coach can not be getting out coached anymore and so far, Quenneville has been the better coach.
The bottom line is that alot of things need to be better and I for one BELIEVE that they will be. Cause the alternative is NOT an option !
Not everything is the fault of the tending, its just a very important piece of the puzzle that has beennowhere near good enough. We know the special teams and the top dogs will get rolling and the defence will be solid. We have no idea about the tending. Which is very unsettling!
When the top dogs are sputtering, you need depth scoring, CHECK !
When facing an offensively skilled team, you need strong defense. CHECK !
To finally get over the hump and win, you need a reliable, steady tender that doesn't require high goal support . . . MUST BE A CHECK !

The hard truth is, Ingram has been terrible to start this series. His rebound control has been aweful, he is not stopping anything on the PK and his stats speak for themselves . . .
4.03 GAA - 14th of 16 tenders
.855 Sav% - 15th of 16 tenders
We need steady Ingram back !

There are only a select few of us that are willing to point out the #1 issue with this team right now. Yes the special teams need to be better and the top line is sputtering, but they have scored 8 goals in 2 games and that should win you games on its own. With that said
"I want to be remembered as a winner. But not just anywhere. Here [in Edmonton]. To be in this city during a Cup run, to feel that buzz, it just wouldn't be the same somewhere else." - #Oilers Connor McDavid

May 31, 1987. Northlands Coliseum. Glenn Anderson, among the great money players of all time, clinches the #StanleyCup for the #Oilers in Game 7 vs. the #Flyers. Look how the crowd rises as one. Bob Cole on the call - at his best. #Edmonton had. #NHL#Philadelphia#CBC
A puck goes off Nurse's knee, then off Murphy's hip and flutters very slowly over Jarry's shoulder from 25' out. Jarry did not see the original shot, did not see either of the deflections and did not see the puck sail slowly over his shoulder. You've got to track that puck kid !
Another game and another game out goalied. I am sooooo tired of watching opposing tenders standing on their heads and our tenders not making the big saves when we need them. Will Oilers goal tending futility ever end ?

Jarry is an absolute TIRE FIRE. Put him on waivers and bring Pickard up. Atleast he competes and gives you consistency !
