You were my 10 year old sons favorite Oiler. We still talk about getting your signature at WEM and what a positive influence you were on the young fans. You must have been signing for 4 hours before my son got up there and you were so friendly and full of energy.

The oilers and the city of Edmonton lost more than just a great Hockey player, but also lost a great member of the community :(

Being older than dirt I tend to forget there’s a generation or three that doesn’t know the details of Oilers Stanley Cup history. Bill Ranford won Conn Smythe leading Oilers back from down 3-1 to Winnipeg Jets to win their fifth Cup in 1990. Kinda relevant today.
