In response to journalists’ questions in Kyiv, I emphasized that U.S. support for Ukraine has not stopped or decreased—it continues. I am grateful for that. Right now, we are not discussing new aid packages yet, but it’s too early for that. However, we have already started communicating with the U.S. team.

There have been many questions from journalists today about Fico’s trip to Moscow. In fact, after our conversation in Brussels in the presence of all European leaders, nothing surprises anymore.

We are fighting for our lives, Fico is fighting for money, and it’s unlikely that money is for Slovakia. Shadow agreements with Putin are either a trade of state interests or working for personal gain.

We offered him solutions regarding potential compensation for Slovaks – the Slovaks specifically – for losses from Russian transit, as well as alternatives for transit – any other gas, not Russian, at the request of the European Commission. We were ready to do this. Fico did not want compensation for the Slovaks. And he does not want to cooperate with the European Commission. For some reason, he finds Moscow more profitable.

Everyone in Europe understands why. There’s no one who doesn’t.

🚨I need your help: please share this. My life’s in danger. Last month I wrote an article simply covering genuine allegations made by hundreds of people against the @georgian_legion (it transpired that senior figures stole donations and have been diverting hundreds of thousands of dollars away from brave Ukrainian fighters on the front lines, into their own pockets - one of them even lives in America and accepts the donations to his personal PayPal account). @Official_NAFO have denounced the Georgian Legion. @United24media removed them from their website. But today the Georgian Legion sent men to my apartment, who waited for someone to come out the block so they could get inside, headed straight up to my floor, intimidated my partner, and put Georgian Legion stickers on my front door to show they know where I live. Cctv Video below shows them coming in, going straight up to my floor, then placing one last sticker on the main entrance elevator - I have more videos, also showing the men coming up to my apartment door (my floor and apartment was the only place they went to), but will hand them over to police because they reveal my exact address. This follows me already receiving death threats, and previously they’ve paid for bizarre disinformation to be written about me (written by a man whom Ukrainian police are seeking to arrest for spreading propaganda to help Russia), and had a sham lawyer try to intimidate me and place my life in danger by lying that I (a journalist who has been to the front and has written over 800 pro-Ukraine, anti-Russia articles) am ‘paid by the Kremlin’ and ‘working for the Georgian government’, knowing that those lies can have me killed. Now my partner believes she might be killed and that I might be too when I return….All because I did what journalists are supposed to do and wrote an article covering a public story. @NPU_GOV_UA , @ServiceSsu etc aren’t replying, I can’t get hold of the British ambassador here, @MartinHarrisOBE , and the embassy replied via email saying that they can’t protect me. So what can I possibly do to prevent myself and my partner being potentially murdered? And who is supposed to protect British citizens and journalists whilst they’re in Ukraine doing important work like reporting about Russia’s constant war crimes?
I wouldn’t tweet this if I didn’t think the threat was serious - but it is. If anything happens to me, you’ll know who was behind it.
