Holy shit just getting home but what a turnaround from the Oilers. Yesterday was “get ready to see Nurse again next year” and expecting a sleepy FA.

Instead they move Nurse (for +value!!), acquire 2 solid goalie bets, add a very good LD in Shea, and shore up depth. Unbelievable

@JasonGregor Only cup roster in last 25 years led by stars who were at all considered “soft” was DET. They were tough down the roster, and Zet+Dats were elite two way players. Matthews has that, Nylander doesn’t. Also missing a Lindstrom. Still not impossible for them to put it together
