@Oil_Drop 2 agents so far have said publicly he’s a good coach and none of their clients have a problem. Some of their clients play in the Oilers. No anonymous text to an Edmonton media guy so he could rant about it. No opinion discretely “leaked”. We will see what happens.

@dstaples @Oil_Drop As much as I know 97 wants to win, I do wonder if he wants to win at all cost or win with style? I still see a player who after over a decade, cheats for offence & doesn’t pay attention to defence like he needs too. Would 97 sacrifice a scoring title to win a cup? I’m not sure.

For 10 yrs 97 has tried to go 1 on 3 or more & it doesn’t work. He’s doing the same thing. It’s not injuries, it’s his unwillingness to change.

@KevinMcCurdy @bcurlock I can’t accept 97 is badly hurt excuse for his poor player. He was lousy G1 before he “got hurt”. If he is hurt badly, why is he continuing to try to go 1 on 3? A hurt player changes his game out of necessity. So either he’s not hurt or an idiot for trying things he can’t do.
