The Cheerleader Who Got Sent Home for exposing IPL parties.
In 2011, a big off-field controversy happened in the IPL.
A 22-year-old South African cheerleader named Gabriella Pasqualotto, who worked for Mumbai Indians, started an anonymous blog called “The Secret Diary of an IPL Cheerleader.”
In the blog, she wrote about the wild after-parties. She said international players were “loose and mischievous.”
She wrote about a famous captain who would flirt with anyone while his girlfriend walked right behind him. She exposed an Australian player who played "kissing catches" with three different girls and invited them to his room, despite having a girlfriend back home. On the flip side, she noted that some of India's biggest superstars politely kept to themselves in the corners
The blog did not stay secret for long. An Australian player complained to the IPL bosses. Soon everyone knew it was Gabriella who wrote it.
Mumbai Indians fired her immediately and sent her back to South Africa on the next flight.
This was a real leak not a made-up story for publicity. It showed how much partying was really happening in the early years of the IPL.
This is the truth I have been asserting: the system has become entirely corrupt and unresponsive. There is no fear of the government because no statesmen or leaders remain to speak for the common citizen. India is worse than the British era in terms of justice. It is unimaginable that a nation could deteriorate to the point where even the dead are not allowed to rest in peace. If this is the path to a Viksit Bharat 2047, then it is nothing but देश का Charli बनाना, not progress.
How does the Indian government silence its citizens?
A Tamil guy booked a fully reserved train ticket but couldn’t even board due to massive overcrowding. Instead of staying silent, he recorded the reality and shared it.Result?
Indian Railways removed the video from India Reserved seat confirmed, but zero space. Daily struggle for millions, yet the focus is on removing videos instead of fixing overcrowding.
Why silence the messenger instead of solving the problem?More trains? Better enforcement? Or just control the narrative? What do you think?

Cutting kalawa from students’ wrists, taping nose rings, wiping off tilak before an exam - these are stupid thoughtless rules created by incompetent babu machinery in name of “security measures”
They survived only because exams are a sensitive point. No parent or student wants to protest at exam gate and risk losing an attempt, a year or getting blacklisted
But wherever there has been organised pushback, the machinery has bent easily - because these rules have no real basis
Earlier this year, Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board changed its rules and lifted the ban on kalawa, janeu, rudraksha mala and other Hindu cultural markers
This is exactly why every such rule must be challenged
Jitu Munda (55) had approached the Odisha Grameen Bank multiple times to withdraw the savings of his sister, who had died two months earlier.
Bank authorities asked him to furnish the required documents but failed to make him understand what exactly was needed or how he could arrange it.
An uneducated tribal man, with no knowledge of paperwork or procedures and unable to comprehend the requirement of documentary proof, exhumed his sister’s remains, placed them in a sack, and carried them to the bank as evidence of her death.
Once the issue went viral, the bank sprang into action and are now saying that he will be guided and helped. But shouldn’t this be the standard practice? Grameen banks were established for financial inclusion, to serve the most vulnerable sections of society, not to burden them with rigid, urban-centric bureaucratic processes they neither understand nor can navigate.
Moreover, the staff in such banks are mostly local and are expected to understand the ground realities far better. If even they fail to bridge the gap between policy and people, then the very purpose of these institutions stands defeated.
After all this, a dhamki has come via the neighbour, sardar ji ko bolo ke twitter per daalna band karien, nahin to unke bande hum raat ko band kar denge
Brilliant work @dcp_southwest@CPDelhi
So I am supposed to shut my work, because you will protect your vardi wala goondas - Very nice
@PMOIndia Please tell me If Should give up my citizenship and move to a different country, because aapki Dilli Ki Police ab dhamki bhi de rahi hai
Why the hypocrisy of hailing the Jawan as a saviour of the Nation on social media and treating him like an unwanted nobody in reality.
Officers & Jawans are granted leave at the last minute due to exigencies of service. No time to get prior reservations done.
What happened to the military coaches in all trains?
Why can’t they be re-introduced?
Is anyone listening @RailMinIndia@adgpi

@cmohry@police_haryana@DC_Gurugram@gurgaonpolice to please take stringent action.
