Farewell to a Great Evangelist: Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai
I have just received with deep sadness the news of the passing on to glory of one of Nigeria’s most revered clerics, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, Founder and President of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association.
My heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends, and the entire congregation of his ministry. May God’s peace and comfort be with them during this difficult time.
Dr. Uma Ukpai devoted his life to preaching the Gospel, healing, and uplifting souls across Nigeria and beyond. Through the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, he organised large-scale crusades, healing services, and leadership conferences that brought hope and transformation to countless lives.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. -PO
Every evil that the APC once condemned, they now practice and support.
APC is a party filled with the most corrupt people surrounded by the worst sycophants.
A marriage of doom and misfortune!
Tueh Kelebe!
This 16 years old girl Iwuji Cynthia Amarachi got parallel A’s in WAEC only for her Chemistry result to be withheld for no communicated reason.
This little girl had lost her dad and her mom is really struggling.
I want to help her.
WAEC needs to investigate this urgently!
1. He removed all subsidies.
2. He pardoned drug traffickers.
3. He doubled your national debt.
4. He increased taxes & poverty rate.
These will hurt the image of the country. No matter the side you belong, you cannot claim you recognize the Nigeria you used to know.
APC Government Policies and style have impoverished Several million Nigerians in Just Two Years.
The World Bank report, released on October 8, 2025, shows that a staggering 139 million Nigerians are now living in poverty, an alarming increase from the 87 million Nigerians living below the poverty line reported in 2023, when Tinubu was sworn in as President.
What this means is that in two years under the watch of the APC regime, over 50 million Nigerians were sent into poverty. This is a heartbreaking reflection of how deeply our nation is failing its citizens.
What is even more concerning is that this devastating revelation has not led to an emergency and national discussion on how to effectively pull millions of our people out of poverty, but instead caused a rebuttal from the government, when the news already reflects the daily struggles of the ordinary Nigerian.
The World Bank also revealed that despite the many celebrated reforms, the number of Nigerians living in poverty is rising, worsening Nigeria's position as the most poverty-stricken nation in the world.
The reasons these reforms are not working are due to the lack of a clear plan and a lack of determination to channel the supposed gains into feasible and productive areas that will benefit the people and improve overall growth.
Reforms must be deliberate and strictly followed by people-focused policies that prioritise production over consumption, support small businesses and farmers, invest in education and healthcare, and ensure that government spending directly impacts the lives of Nigerians by pulling them out of poverty.
No nation can truly rise when the majority of its people are trapped in poverty. With the right leadership, we can make Nigeria work for every Nigerian.

I need 50,000 people to write to tell Facebook that the attempt to bring my Facebook down is politically motivated and malicious.
Let’s do it.

Tinubu’s Reckless Use of Presidential Pardon Undermines Justice and Emboldens Criminality
The recent announcement of a presidential pardon by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has, as expected, provoked outrage across the nation.
Ordinarily, the power of presidential pardon is a solemn prerogative, a moral and constitutional instrument designed to temper justice with mercy and to underscore the humanity of the state. When properly exercised, it elevates justice and strengthens public faith in governance.
Regrettably, the latest pardon issued by the Tinubu administration has done the very opposite. The decision to extend clemency to individuals convicted of grave crimes such as drug trafficking, kidnapping, murder, and corruption not only diminishes the sanctity of justice but also sends a dangerous signal to the public and the international community about the values this government upholds.
At a time when Nigeria continues to reel under the weight of insecurity, moral decay, and a surge in drug-related offences, it is both shocking and indefensible that the presidency would prioritize clemency for those whose actions have directly undermined national stability and social order.
Particularly worrisome is the revelation that 29.2% percent of those pardoned were convicted for drug-related crimes at a time when our youth are being destroyed by narcotics, and our nation is still struggling to cleanse its image from the global stain of drug offences.
Even more disturbing is the moral irony that this act of clemency is coming from a President whose own past remains clouded by unresolved and unexplained issues relating to the forfeiture of thousands of dollars to the United States government over drug-related investigations. It is, therefore, no surprise that this administration continues to demonstrate a worrying tolerance for individuals associated with criminal enterprise.
A presidential pardon is meant to symbolize restitution and moral reform. Instead, what we have witnessed is a mockery of the criminal justice system, an affront to victims, a demoralization of law enforcement, and a grave injury to the conscience of the nation.
Clemency must never be confused with complicity. When a government begins to absolve offenders of the very crimes it claims to be fighting, it erodes the moral authority of leadership and emboldens lawlessness.
Nigeria deserves a leadership that upholds justice, not one that trivializes it. -AA
....you must have watched another programme. From gratuitous insults like "SAN"; to threats like "inciting" & "actionable"; to insults & put downs like "you are too small", there was only one person behaving like an absolute idiot on that show & it was not @ruffydfire.
Aba is something else. We have seen the process when they were working on the roads last year - but now we are on a different level! Water fountain roundabout 😎 @alexottiofr jisie Ike, you are really doing well!

In 162 days: The Highest Court in Nigeria failed to determine the case brought before it by eleven PDP governors, against the FG.
The Apex court failed to determine the suit challenging the removal of Governor Fubara & the appointment of a sole administrator.
They simply left the file on a dusty shelf.
RIP to the Judiciary in Nigeria is in order. The Supreme Court became silent when the case was between the FG & public interest. The apex court has taken sides. They are not neutral.
Elections in Nigeria became one of the most expensive in the world. For a charade that will end in GO TO COURT. The Supreme Court is now academic. A scarecrow of its former glory.
Nigeria was okay until the APC showed up. They decimated our country to ground zero. But that wasn’t enough! The found additional mojo to capture the courts & ALL Institutions as well.
Justices Kayode Eso, Chukwudifu Oputa, Mohammed Uwais, Karibi-Whyte, Anthony Aniagolu, & George Oguntade are disappointed!
These were activist judges. They were fearlessly courageous. When the matter for determination was of national importance, they dispensed it judiciously & timely. Their landmark judgments are reference points for other judges & lawyers to this day.
The Supreme Court is now into Regime Protection, the worst kind since 1999. The judiciary contributed greatly to the political morass we have in Nigeria today.
The fastest road to a “Failed state” is when citizens completely lose faith in their judiciary. When they say go to court, you already know they have the judiciary in their pocket.
“No businessman can bring their money into a country where the judiciary is compromised. Where officials can dictate court judgments.”
