If Dante who is 40 years can play high line, Thiago Silva can also play high line but he needs a speed demon like Wesley as a partner.

For me, we are conceding too many chances at the minute. We have two options, we either go 3atb or we press high and apply more pressure on the ball.

Spurs and Villa aren't defensively wonderful individually but they play high and apply good pressure on the ball, limiting face-offs against their defence.

That's a viable way to play without a natural DM. If we can defend high effectively, it will reduce the pressure our defence faces.
