Why I see it as a waste of time debating with Muslims

● USING THE BIBLE

Muslim - MUSA, I want us to debate Islam and Christianity. You said Jesus is God, where did Jesus say, " I am God, worship me.

MUSA - John 14:8-9
Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.

Muslim - It's not Jesus that wrote that it's John. And the Bible is corrupted.

MUSA - But the same John wrote the verse that says, "But Jesus went down on his knees and prayed and you believe that one and many of you are using what John wrote to claim Jesus was a Muslim ".

They will ONLY accept the Bible when it favours them.

● USING THE QURAN

MUSA - Since the Bible is corrupted, let's use your Quran, which is not corrupted. The Quran says all Muslims will go to hell in Sura 19:68-71

Muslim - You don't understand Arabic, and you are not deep in Islamic Studies, that's not what that verse means. You need an Islamic Scholar to interpret for you.

MUSA - So you Muslims understand our Bible more than we do, even Pastors. While we don't understand your QURAN, we need somebody to help us understand. But Sura 19:68-71, even a Primary 6 pupil will understand what it means without interpretation.

● HADITHS
Shaitan is in the noses of Muslims every morning until you wash your nose with water. Sahih Buhari 3295

Muslim- Hadiths are not the Quran; Hadiths are the writings of people, not the Quran.

MUSA - But the Hadiths are written by respected Muslim Jurisdictions.

Debating with them is just a waste of time, anywhere you want to follow they have what to counter, so what's the need? Just pray for them for the visitation of the Holy Spirit as Jesus is doing these days.
