Yet another poll showing it’s not just big rights holders who object to unlicensed gen AI training - it’s creators.

1,000 artists. 95% say training requires consent, 94% that it requires payment.

Interestingly, 84% say they would license their work for AI training. Don’t let AI companies tell you licensing is impossible. Creators are willing to license - AI companies, taking their work without permission, are just not giving them the chance.

I read the PCC blog post and I thought it was a helpful step of detail and transparency on Apple’s end

I genuinely think the same announcement (PCC + Apple Intelligence) detached from any kind of Open AI partnership (GPT + Siri) would have had less skepticism and more trust
