A former golf caddy, truck/taxi driver, UN intern, city/state worker, a prof even but nothing shaped OBG more than growing up in the Bronx. Thus, the X ID.

@ChurchillFella 1961. Friday. Lou G., 15, drunk, exits an alley I'm standing by. Cold-cocks me. Swings again, misses, keeps coming. I back away, jabbing, hooking. He's flailing, easy to hit, goes down, raging. I sit on him, hoping he settles. Next, his Mom's on my back! "Off my boy, bastard!"

@onamission0621 @vincedmonroy Agreed. Let's see how the election goes.

[Old Bronx Guy @OldBronxGuy]

@onamission0621 @vincedmonroy Hope you're right and all this passes. Trump rallies are public events anyone can sign up for. Like a ballgame anyone can buy a ticket to. "Go if you want your ass kicked" by the home team's rabid fans doesn't cut it. You get to root for the Red Sox at Yankee Stadium, as I have.

@Acyn Kimberly Guilfoy-Who?!? It's Trump's go-to Frank Pantangeli riff, "I don't know no Godfather!" (GF-II). Sorry, but Kimber-LAY, as Trump fondly called her in March, was a Trump go-to fluffer, riling up crowds, including on J6. Plus she was Don, Jr.'s 4-year fiance. Spare us!

@onamission0621 @vincedmonroy Neither. I read. This episode of non-saluting bystanders is from the book, In the Garden of the Beasts, by Eric Larson, which draws upon the diaries of the U.S.'s first Ambassador to Nazi Germany as Hitler consolidated power. Know your history, or risk repeating it.

Musk's 2026 political contributions are 366 million dollars--so far! That's the average ANNUAL income of 4.2 million U.S. families! All thrown by Elon at elections like small change from his back pocket. That's totally fucked up; so's the system allowing it. OUTVOTE his damn $$$!

Elections here. Cake's baked. Gas, food & heating oil killing us. All Trump's got now is a bribe of the day. Republicans in Congress can't stand up to a gentle breeze, let alone Trump's tornado of tyranny. Vote Republican, get 2 more years of lunacy, lies, dumb wars. It's on us!

@KaceeRAllen 1930s Germany slid into total dictatorship when folks started getting beat by fellow citizens for not saluting as Hitler's paramilitaries marched by. Fat, gay, thin or straight didn't matter, only blind loyalty was acceptable, or else. Trump's taking us there. Stop him. Vote!
