@PurpleWolvy22 @GammaZFearsYAH @brysongray Make your case in Scripture then. I have. Jesus described the exact situation that played out and said to not strike back, but instead turn the other cheek. The Bible also says if your life is in danger you can defend yourself. This was not the case here. Read Matthew 5
@snackingmouse@brysongray You’re going on mute now. I have given you plenty of biblical references and you’ve offered nothing but your own conjecture. Seek out the Lord and repent. You’ll be glad to surrendered your life to Christ. Go in peace.
@snackingmouse@brysongray This is clear Biblical Instruction. There’s no “more likely” the meaning is clear. Jesus continues saying “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” The whole sermon is about not responding in kind. You’re obviously not a believer. Read Matthew 5.
@unlimited_ls It was a failure of the school staff. But an even bigger failure on the part of the parents. They knew what was going on and knew their child better than anyone else. But they continued to send him into that same situation. They don’t deserve to profit off of his death.
@CryptidPolitics It’s an amazing true story. They did experience racism and sexism at the time. However, I highly doubt they put down other branches of the armed services like this trailer suggests.
@DudeinKansas@brysongray Bryson spends most of his time on X calling out people who stumble in sin. He himself is clearly guilty here and is unrepentant.
We all stumble sometimes. However, when he calls out so many others it’s only right that he be called out in the same manner.
@PurpleWolvy22 @GammaZFearsYAH @brysongray The Bible does not prohibit self-defense. But that’s not what happened here. Bryson sought out a fight after literally being struck on the cheek. You’re wrong about the verse though. Read the context of the passage in Matthew 5. It’s not what you described.
@GammaZFearsYAH @brysongray The Bible says that “the righteous are as bold as a lion,” but Jesus specifically says if someone strikes you, “turn the other cheek.” Being bold does not mean violence. But to stand for truth. It’s not a contradiction. You have to rightly divide the Word. 2Tim 2:15.
@GammaZFearsYAH @brysongray “But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
@Burghbrawler703@NancyMace@chiproytx Why does anyone listen to that guy after knowing the amount of drugs he’s done? He obviously fried his brains out a long time ago. Anyone engaging with him will only find frustration and more idiocy.
@joann_simpson@brysongray We all stumble at points. But Bryson rightly calls it out in others. It’s only right he gets called out on it when he does as well.
@tee_tru@brysongray Bryson literally chased him down and set up a fight. The Bible plainly speaks against that.
He could have easily filed a police report and pressed charges. He sought out revenge for himself plain and simple.
