When Obama was elected, I felt a sense that America was finally coming together. Yet, that seemed to bring out the worst in some people. Many of the firefighters I'd worked with in Detroit for 34 years were making very disparaging remarks (surprisingly).

Then comes Trump, and it seemed to bring out the unabashed racist. The one good thing about Trump coming to power was the fact that the closet racists came out and revealed themselves.
