You might feel the need to fill up every moment of silence, but giving your players time to talk amongst themselves is a valuable thing.

Enemies can turn on each other! Give your players subtle hints of possible bad blood, so they can take advantage of it in a tactical way.

Secret timers are interesting, timers your players are aware of are way more interesting.

If your players know they only have X amount of time, the mission becomes more suspenseful and their strategies more meaningful.

Sometimes: remind your players to check whatever they have in their inventories, a couple of days before you play.

Lots of fun goodies get lost in notebooks or digital equivalents - while they can have such fun, game changing potential.

@BraytheRPG @MischiefsStitc1 It's annoying. HBO was stuck in Holland for a long time behind some annoying cable company. But HBO Max set it free. Hope that'll happen in Germany some time soon too.

But... the Last of Us *is* very much worth a bit of trouble. I love it with all my heart.

Players rarely go looking for what they don't know is there.

If you want them to explore, give them a map, or tell them about the possible locations in a different way.
