@SMerler The large difference in deaths may be explained by the variation in the strains of the virus. I.e. it mutates and the current strain in Australia may be potentially more dangerous than the one we see in Europe. If weather is key, how then do you explain COVID deaths in Caribbean?

@nghrbi I woudnt see all of the effect necessarily as "Angstsparen" but rather there is nothing to consume (apart from necessities, food etc) if shops are closed so there is no other option than saving the money. Surely part of it willb be provisions for rainy days.
