Those who listen to Jamie Carragher baffle me. I struggle to see a single reason he still has a job.

Pep had every resource imaginable, with a club accused of the kind of cheating & systemic corruption that has never been seen in English football before. Like Jürgen Klopp, he lasted 10 years in the Premier League, he was done, he couldn't do it anymore.

All that financial power & his 'advantages', the PL's too, the decline of European clubs, he won 1 Champions League from 10 tries. Meanwhile Sir Alex won two - despite the ban on English clubs, the strength of Europe the entire time he was in charge etc.

He dominated England for three decades. He turned Manchester United into an gargantuan juggernaut, rebuilt on the fly & took down challenger. He couldn't buy whoever he wanted & replace players as he pleased either. He made it work with what he had.

Oh, and I didn't even get into what he achieved in Scotland before he even arrived at Old Trafford, the likes of which Pep could never do because he needs every single tool to be perfect to succeed.

So no, we don't 'insist' that Sir Alex is ahead.. he just is.

All this was done while only being the 10th highest spender in England, this included 3 European trophies in a time that Italy & Spain had superior money to English sides.

This all came after Sir Alex took over a broken and failing institution in Man United which he spend years fixing and rebuilding from the bottom up.

The idea that any reason “baffles” you Jamie is absolutely ridiculous especially when Pep’s success is on the back of 115 allegations that Man City build their finances to fund Pep fraudulently.

Yesterday I wrote that Timothée Chalamet should’ve won the #Oscar last year for A Complete Unknown. I put my head on the pillow last night & woke up this morning and realized how wrong I was. Colman Domingo moved mountains in Sing Sing last year. This man - not Chalamet, not Brody- deserved the award.

Sing Sing deserves to be seen by many more people. If you haven’t had an opportunity to see this film, you should try to watch. I cried my ass off because this is a film that reminds us all that art & self expression can help save a person’s life. These are the sort of stories & performances that stay with you forever.
