o fandom de avatar encontra-se no momento dividido em três:
1. os q amaram sete refúgios
2. os q odiaram sete refúgios
3. os a estão com tesão no karthik
karthik : I still believe in the avatar, jae you have to keep our secret
jae : I hate lying! this is too much responsibility!
pavi : I never wanted to be the avatar :(
nisha :
@astro_v4mp You're very correct! The bigotry is an entirely unnecessary addition to this discourse. I just hate the throwing rocks and then hiding hands of it all.
Productions choice to remove this scene from the final cut is still astonishing to me. The lore, the plot, the music🔊 the IMPACT! It really breaths life into Karthiks character. #Justiceforkarthik#Sevenhavens
i feel like a lot of yall need to learn how the absolute state of the animation industry rn is especially with a studio from hell like paramount and then a lot of yalls “why no animated korrasami” questions would be answered —
i feel like the discourse on who's a good avatar and who's not was always pointless to me cuz theyre not superheroes, theyre just ppl who are stuck with the biggest responsibility of their world and are worshipped as such so they dont have the luxury of failing
On the topic of Pavi being a self-taught bender, I love how in the final scene of episode 1, you can see the sheer difference between Pavi and Jae's forms. An airbender who's actually been taught to airbend, and a girl who is brute-forcing it poorly with her earthbending form.
Now me personally I love it when characters say the most horrible fucked up soul crushing triggering things to each other in the heat of the moment, almost breakup/divorce then realise they’re codependent and get back together
@tamaraneanxman For me it's like, there's reason to be concerned about what content will be made about Korra amidst/post-A7H and how her relationship will be included.
Half the discussion has not actually articulated that concern, it's just been inflammatory language and homophobia
