No official count is available, but the “No Kings” rally in the heart of Olney 2 to 4:30 p.m. today appeared much larger than the previous “No Kings” rally. The rally at Leisure World, a few miles south on Georgia Ave, also reportedly drew record crowds, as did others in MoCo.
District 14 team of Sen. Craig Zucker, Del. Anne Kaiser & Del. Bernice Mireku-North will seek re-election to the General Assembly, but Del. Pam Queen will retire at the end of her term. Former County Exec. Isiah “Ike” Leggett thanked Queen for her “successful legislative career.”
