To be in the top 50% of earners in the UK, do you know how much you need to earn?
Shockingly it's just £26,000 a year
That is only slightly above minimum wage
To be in the top 25%, it's just £41,000
And to reach the top 10%, you need £63,000 a year
Some people think being in the top 10% makes you rich, but £63,000 is NOT a lot anymore with how much everything costs
So if you don't act now you'll end up bankrupt in retirement with no govt help.

This is very compassionate of the Minister.
He sent his daughter to the UK to become a lawyer so that other Nigerian youth can take student loans and attend local universities.
While he was there, he also looked for foreign investors.
What else?
He flew with Air Peace, boosting the Nigerian economy; those flowers are from Mambila in Taraba.
Context matters
(Did I say it right?)
America is 12 nights and 37.5 billion dollars into a bombing campaign its own CIA has already told the White House will not work.
The assessment landed Monday. Nights 11 and 12 flew anyway.
Written primarily by the CIA and briefed to the Trump administration, it finds that strikes of the kind now underway are unlikely to move Tehran's negotiating position, and that the two governments are stuck in what the analysts call an indefinite limbo between peace and war.
Those agencies have already been proven right once, at the highest stake available.
A week before the war opened, the American National Intelligence Council modelled two paths, a narrow strike on Iran's leadership and a wider assault on the state itself. Both returned the same answer. Succession protocols would run, the clerical and military establishment would keep control, and a fragmented opposition would not take power.
Then American and Israeli strikes killed Ali Khamenei on day one. Iran had a new Supreme Leader inside nine days. The Revolutionary Guard backed him. Mojtaba Khamenei is reportedly injured and has not appeared publicly since, and the office, the chain of command and the coercive apparatus carried on regardless.
That is the target nobody can actually bomb. Not Pickaxe Mountain. The machinery that replaces dead Irani / IRGC leaders.
CENTCOM says night 12 struck maritime capabilities, missile and drone storage, coastal surveillance and air defences. Nine commercial vessels redirected under the blockade, one disabled, more than 50,000 American personnel deployed. No locations, weapons or damage assessment released.
The hardware score is real. The political score has not moved in five months.
Escalation is loading regardless. A B-1 flew the first heavy bomber mission of this phase on Tuesday, reportedly from a British base, payload undisclosed. B-2s and B-52s flew earlier in the war and neither is confirmed now. The B-2 carries the 30,000 pound penetrator, and Pickaxe Mountain is estimated at 80 to 100 metres deep against a published penetration reach near 60.
Entrances can be sealed. Access can be collapsed. However nobody can promise the whole complex.
Two assessments, five months apart, reached the same conclusion. The bombers flew both times.

“Everybody thinks there’s going to be so much more utilization and there will be, but there’s going to be technological breakthroughs as well."
"Just like we saw with fiber when it went from 1GB to 100GB and then there wasn’t a fiber problem anymore."
"A lot of these data centers are going to end up as pickleball courts."
As Russia increases the pressure on the battlefield, Ukraine attacks civilian targets with drones in Moscow in an attempt to provoke Putin and widen the war to NATO countries. BTW most of the drone development and manufacturing of Ukraine is taking place in the UK. Which makes us a legitimate war target. Is our Governments policy on Ukraine making us safer or more insecure in the UK?
Is this why President Putin reclassified the Special Military Operation as war ?

On the 11th night of bombing Iran to stop it enriching Uranium, Washington approved a nuclear deal that could let Saudi Arabia start. The Saudi Crown Prince has said publicly that if Iran ever gets a bomb, he will build one too. And Secretary of State Marco Rubio co-sponsored the bill demanding Riyadh never be allowed to enrich at all.
That bill set two conditions. Saudi Arabia had to renounce enrichment and reprocessing permanently, and sign the IAEA's Additional Protocol, which lets inspectors chase undeclared sites, not just declared ones. Sec. Rubio's own statement clearly said civil nuclear talks should stop until both were met. The 2009 UAE agreement contains both, which is why specialists call it the gold standard. The Saudi deal, according to CNN and AP, contains neither.
The agreement is not law. It goes to the US Congress, obviously faces bipartisan resistance, and builds no centrifuge hall tomorrow.
Pickaxe Mountain, which POTUS Trump says gets hit "pretty soon, and very heavily," has not been struck, is not publicly proven to hold enrichment, and was most likely built to replace the centrifuge assembly plant destroyed near Natanz. Iran calls it exactly that.
The two files are not equivalent either. Iran enriched to 60%, holds a stockpile the IAEA can no longer locate/verify, and has shut inspectors out. Saudi Arabia led by MBS has built no enrichment industry at all.
The simplest reading of the timing is insurance. Washington's stated fear is that refusing Riyadh pushes it toward Chinese or Russian suppliers, where America sees nothing. That is real. So is the other half. If 11 nights of severe bombing do not finish Iran's program, the Crown Prince MBS has already said what he does next, and this agreement decides whose centrifuges he uses when he does it.
The American condition has moved too. Back in 2009 a partner surrendered enrichment permanently and opened its whole program. In 2026 a partner may enrich, provided America designs the plant, writes the safeguards and keeps a hand on the switch. Nonproliferation is not being abandoned. It is being turned into a licence.
Every strike also teaches Iran / IRGC to build deeper, deeper means less verifiable, less verifiable means more strikes. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth told the Senate that American forces can reach anything on earth. Pete did not say they could confirm what survived underneath.
The bombing is the policy. The deal is the hedge.
Three rival AI labs have contracted to rent SpaceX's computers for roughly 27.8 billion dollars a year, the largest being Anthropic paying 1.25 billion a month. That is why Grok could be released free tomorrow and SpaceX would barely feel it.
The compute is Colossus scale, already leased to its own competitors. The app layer arrives through a 60 billion dollar agreement to buy Cursor, expected to close this quarter. The massive defense position is already cleared, one of only 8 AI firms permitted on classified military networks, with reported talks to sell the Pentagon billions in capacity still unsigned. The orbital path is an FCC filing for up to 1 million compute satellites at about 120 kilowatts each, first prototypes in 2027.
Google and Microsoft own compute and apps too. Owning the stack is not rare. Neither of them owns a rocket right?
The binding constraint on frontier AI stopped being weights. It is watts. Every large data center on Earth is capped by grid power and by water for cooling, which is why they are now built beside power plants and why interconnect queues run for years. Orbit removes both ceilings. Permanent sunlight, zero water.
Orbit does not remove heat. In vacuum there is no air and no water, so waste heat can only be radiated, which is why each of those satellites carries roughly 110 square meters of radiator. A grid problem becomes a radiator problem, and that trade only pays at a low enough cost per kilogram to orbit. That is the one number this company controls better than anyone alive.
Every one of those rental contracts allows early termination. The largest tenant alone is more than half the 27.8 billion, and it can walk. SpaceX spent 7.7 billion on AI hardware in the first quarter against 4.7 billion of total revenue and a 4.28 billion loss. It spent more on machines in three months than the whole company earned. Musk also open-sourced an early Grok in 2024 and almost nothing happened.
The $SPCX stock broke below its June IPO price this month. The position underneath it has never been stronger, or less proven.
The market is still pricing weights. The scarcity is WATTS!!!
The piece works out what an AI company is worth when the AI is the cheap part.
Banks tell you Bitcoin is too risky
The same banks will happily lend you £50,000 for a depreciating car
One could fall in value
The other almost certainly will
Do you understand?
On July 24, 2026, the Chinese government is directing all qualified retail players in SGE physical gold forwards contracts toward the Hong Kong OTC gold market, where trades will be cleared through the new HKPMCC.
At the same time, it is steering retail leveraged paper gold players toward the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE).
This move de-risks the Shanghai Gold Exchange by reducing leveraged retail speculation, making it a cleaner physical market.
Simultaneously, it strengthens Hong Kong’s emerging gold hub with higher-quality liquidity. It also channels retail speculative flows into SHFE, which could widen the SGE-SHFE arbitrage spread and prompt banks to import more physical gold from Western exchanges to feed SHFE warehouses.
Saudi is in total chaos.
Iran just fired ballistic missiles at King Fahd International Airport
Direct hits reported. Nearby areas are on fire too.
The airport is officially shut down.
Flights heading to Saudi are getting rerouted to Abu Dhabi and Doha.
And as we speak, Iran is bombing Bahrain too.
The IRGC has issued another warning.
Next 72 hours, attacks are expanding to unexpected places in West Asia.
UAE, Kuwait, Qatar are in serious danger.
Andy Burnham's first 48 hours as the new UK prime minister produced one policy spoken in two languages.
Andy stripped UK’s 5% VAT off household electricity, worth about 45 pounds a year.
Then, Bloomberg reports, the new Prime Minister kept British bases open for limited American strikes on the Iranian missile sites choking the Strait of Hormuz. One hand treats the bill. The other attacks the shock that raised it.
The link is not rhetorical. UK’s energy cap had just climbed 13%, roughly 221 pounds for a typical home, because the Gulf war drove wholesale gas higher. Burnham's own call readout with Trump tied securing Hormuz directly to lowering costs for British families. The tax cut and the bombers are the same cost-of-living policy at two different altitudes, one on the meter, one on the runway.
This is clear continuity, not conversion, whatever the feeds are saying. Ex-UK PM Keir Starmer authorised US use of British bases back on 1st March 2026 for a specific and limited defensive purpose, hitting the launchers and depots firing at regional allies, then extended it to Hormuz shipping on 20th March. Burnham preserved that narrow permission. He did not hand Washington the whole target list, and Starmer did not fall for resisting President Trump, he resigned under domestic and Labour pressure after he had already said yes.
And Great Britain is not choosing between sovereignty and surrender too. It holds a real veto. It used it at first. But every answer carries a price. Refuse, and Britain risks its Gulf partners, its own nationals, Hormuz traffic, energy bills and its most important military relationship. Consent, and British bases enter Iran's target set, which Iran already tested when its missiles reached Diego Garcia in March 2026 and missed.
That atoll is the tell. Britain administers the runway, Uncle Sam supplies the force that makes it matter and has helped freeze Britain's treaty handing the islands to Mauritius, and Mauritius claims the land.
Three governments, three keys, one strip of coral. Sovereignty here is not the absence of constraint. It is the authority to choose which price to pay.
Great Britain changed prime ministers for the 7th time in 10 years this week. The gas market, the missile range and the runway did not move however. Some decisions belong to the manifesto. This one belonged to the meter, the map, and the legal fence around a target.
An attacker created 4.5 million units of a dollar-pegged stablecoin out of a zero address, and the entire attack netted him roughly $912,000. Those 4.5 million tokens were each supposed to be worth a dollar. Selling them destroyed the exact price that made them worth stealing. Balance Coin now trades at 0.001157 dollars, down more than 99%.
SlowMist put the loss near 912,000 dollars and PeckShield near 915,000. Balance Coin was issued by Balance Protocol and governed by 42DAO on BNB Chain, and it marketed itself as over-collateralized, backed primarily by Bitcoin Cash according to its own whitepaper. Users locked collateral and minted BLC against it. If collateral value fell too far, vaults liquidated automatically. That automation became the weapon.
42DAO has published nothing, so every technical account of this comes from outside security firms. According to SlowMist, the attacker pushed an abnormally low Binance-pegged Bitcoin price into the protocol's median oracle through its own poke and bark functions. Nothing checked it. Vaults never eligible for liquidation instantly appeared underwater, and the attacker took the collateral. The bad debt and newly minted BLC were dumped into PancakeSwap for USDT, and the peg was finished.
SlowMist listed what was missing and it reads like a checklist nobody completed. No price deviation checks. No maximum drawdown limits. No minimum price protection. No liquidation delay. TenArmor identified two transactions, the second roughly two hours later, minting another 5,900 tokens and draining more liquidity.
The architecture is the damning part. This was a MakerDAO fork built on Maker's own contract names. Maker solved this exact attack years ago with an oracle security module that holds any new price for a delay before it can act, so an impossible number can be caught and frozen before it touches collateral. The fork copied the engine and left out the brake.
The project had publicized a CertiK audit of its BLC minting contract. The mint still produced millions of unbacked tokens, because the failure was never inside the contract that was audited. It was in the number that contract was handed. An audited component is not an audited system.
Nothing in the code failed. It ran its safety check. Debt must stay below collateral value. That equation is correct and it returned true. It evaluated a real rule against a fake number. The contract was never tricked into skipping its rules. It obeyed them perfectly inside a world that did not exist.
That reframes what collateral means. The asset never secured this system. The price feed did. A protocol cannot act on your reserves. It acts on what it has been told your reserves are worth. You can be honestly, fully, verifiably overcollateralized and still lose everything, because what executes is not the truth. It is the number the code was handed.
So the oracle is not a data feed sitting beside the collateral. The oracle is part of the collateral. So is the monitoring. So is whoever holds emergency authority. Strip those out and the deposit ratio on the front page is decoration.
This is the warning for everything being tokenized now. Tokenized Treasuries, digital government bonds, real-world asset funds and every collateralized stablecoin need something to tell the chain what things are worth. Tokenization does not remove the middleman. It converts whoever supplies the information into whoever controls the asset. In old finance a wrong number starts a reconciliation that takes days. Here it liquidates the vault, mints the liability, sells both and settles with finality before anyone reads the alert.
A blockchain can prove a rule executed. It cannot prove the world that rule assumed was real.
Burnham Was Warned. He Appointed Miliband Anyway
Washington does not usually warn incoming prime ministers before they take office. It did this time. The Telegraph has revealed that the White House told Andy Burnham's team, in the informal contacts that precede any change of government, that Ed Miliband would be a problem. Burnham was told before he had the keys to Downing Street. He took the warning, and on Monday he handed Miliband the Foreign Office regardless.
Steve Bannon's assessment is blunt but accurate. Burnham, he says, could not care less. The evidence supports him. This was not an oversight. It was a choice made with full knowledge of the cost.
The cost is not abstract. Miliband spent the past year demonstrating exactly the instincts that made Washington nervous. In February he led the National Security Council in blocking American use of UK bases, a decision that persuaded Sir Keir Starmer to deny Diego Garcia to Washington at the opening of the war on Iran. He beat John Healey, the Defence Secretary whose job it actually was to weigh that call, and Starmer sided with him. The reversal came only after Iran struck a British base, which is to say only after the argument was settled by force rather than judgment. As energy secretary he blocked North Sea drilling, a policy Trump has criticised directly and repeatedly. None of this is buried history. It is the record Burnham had in front of him when he made his decision.
Then there is the personal record, which is worse. In 2016 Miliband wrote of resisting "the worst of Trumpism" and described the president's election as leaving "little solace." He told the BBC that sharing values with Trump "beggars belief," and specified why in terms no diplomat would choose. In 2017 he said Trump had "lowered the bar for idiocy" and marched against him through London. A Foreign Secretary's job includes managing the most consequential relationship Britain has. Burnham has given that job to a man who has spent a decade on record calling the other head of state a bigot.
Miliband's own first words in the role confirmed the diagnosis. He pledged to deepen ties with the European Union. Only after that did he mention, almost as an addendum, Britain's alliance with the United States. A new Foreign Secretary's first public sentence is read closely by every chancellery watching. Miliband's told Washington where it ranks.
Compare this with David Lammy, who held the same brief under Starmer and was quietly sidelined from broadcast interviews once his own historical comments about Trump became a liability. Lammy salvaged something through his relationship with JD Vance. Miliband has no equivalent relationship to fall back on. His connections run to John Kerry and the Democratic establishment Trump defeated twice. His idea of common ground with the president, we are told, is baseball.
None of this happened by accident. Burnham was handed a direct warning from the government of Britain's closest ally and decided the warning did not matter. That tells you what his premiership intends to prioritise, and it is not the transatlantic relationship. A government that begins by ignoring Washington's explicit concerns is not signalling independence. It is signalling that the alliance is now negotiable.
Trump has already shown, in his treatment of Starmer, how little patience he extends to leaders who misjudge him. Burnham has just handed him a Foreign Secretary who spent a decade calling him unfit for office. The special relationship survived Starmer's paralysis. Whether it survives Miliband's appointment is now an open question, and Burnham chose to ask it.
"In 2017 Miliband said Trump had "lowered the bar for idiocy" and marched against him through London."
Let me get this straight.
An unelected PM with no mandate.
A Deputy PM convicted of fraud.
A Housing Secretary who failed to pay tax.
An Education Secretary who called child exploitation a “dog whistle”.
And a Defence Secretary with no military experience !
Hold Tight ! 🤨
