In a year where they were picked 13th…A&M finishes 3rd in the SEC and drops the regional final against the best 2 in the country when they were woefully under-seeded.
Earley has this program headed in the right direction even if the goal post movers don’t like it.
A bittersweet ending to the careers of Caden Sorrell and Gavin Grahovac, two of the best to ever wear the uniform. Grateful for them sticking it out and helping point this program in the right way.
It’ll be a big off season for the Ags to get their pitching healthy and fill in a few missing pieces in the portal.
@John_Clendenin1 Yeah, the right direction but can’t get out of our own regional two years removed from playing for a natty.
Let’s quit acting like he took over some crap program instead of one that was the national runner up the prior year.
Talk about moving goal posts. 🤦🏻♂️
Don’t think the last two years are what A&M decision makers envisioned when they promoted a coach to keep an elite roster together and try to stick it to their rival.
Do you try it again for a third year?
2-0 at your own regional
Just need to win 1 of 2 games
And the response from the Texas A&M offense is:
•3 runs on 9 hits
•1 run on 6 hits
Oh and the Aggie pitching staff surrendered:
•14 runs on 17 hits
•7 runs on 12 hits
Unacceptable
Coaching malpractice by Earley to leave an exhausted Freshcorn in to face Lopez after a heroic effort on the mound.
We have a head coach that is using his position as on-the-job-training and a pitching coach that is incompetent.
You can’t keep your job after being preseason #1 and miss the postseason followed by getting bounced from your own regional. Whatever the reasonings or injuries. Doesn’t matter.
Worst case scenario has occurred
Our best defensive player just got carted off with an aircast on his leg
Hopefully he can recover quickly but Daymion Sanford is likely in danger of missing the entire season now
Absolutely electric lmao CB Buckner noticeably annoyed when he tapped the 2nd time only to be wrong again and listen to 40,000 people cheer for his incompetence 😂
Giving Bucky a modest extension to market rate is a smart move. Giving a young hitting coach w/no experience the keys to a top SEC program was a poor decision. No AD should be given the benefit of the doubt on hires…judge results based on context and merit.
Don’t be surprised if LSU immediately goes waist-deep in the murky waters of college basketball recruiting. Their coach’s name is literally “will wade.”
