Last season we spent aprox £3-4M on the pitch & training ground which would allow £1.8-2.4M to spend on the team on top of turnover.

If you're at one of the bigger academies you may be tempted to drop to Wycombe hoping you have an easier path to first team football & working your way back up the table.

He wanted a team without an academy so the academy players had an acheivable target and with Wycombe having to close their academy in 2012, they fitted with his plans.
