Good morning @BenHundeyin your profile has the caption “If you see something, say something.” We didn’t have to say this much of what we’ve seen in the Uk before getting a response, from @metpoliceuk.
@PoliceNG We’ve been saying something for days raising genuine safety and due-process concerns around the ongoing @iammohbad_ matter.
Now we’re asking: when will @BenHundeyin say something back?
Silence shouldn’t meet citizens calling for clarity.
#StopPolicingByProxy #JusticeThroughLaw #RuleOfLaw
We’ve seen the videos.
We’ve heard the widow.
Omowunmi Aloba has formally accused Yomi Fabiyi of cyber-stalking, intimidation, and harassment.
We have tagged @PoliceNG and @BenHundeyin, @PoliceNG_CRU .
We are still awaiting their response and official position.

hashtag #StopProxyPolicing and retweet.
Good morning Nigeria! @PoliceNG, IG Kayode Egbetokun, @BenHundeyin
Today yet again, we are respectfully asking Assistant Commissioner of Police Michael Marcus Tarfa, of the FCID Abuja, whether he is aware that the late Mohbad’s matter, which former actor Yomi Fabiyi repeatedly claims to be acting upon under a so-called “harmonisation directive from the Presidency” on TikTok, has already gone through a Coroner’s Inquest?
The Coroner’s Inquest in Lagos issued its recommendations after sitting for almost two years, while the DPP has filed charges against those it deemed to be charged. As a matter of fact, Ayobami Sadiq (Spending) abducted by Yomi Fabiyi in Lagos with the help of Supol Ige Adejoke (as alleged in Yomi’s video) has a hearing in court in the same case Yomi is “acting upon” for 11 November 2025.
If the case is before a competent court, then what exactly is this “harmonisation directive” being invoked, and from whom?
We are also appealing to the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Force PRO, @BenHundeyin , to kindly clarify the position of the Nigeria Police Force and to investigate the online activities and claims of Yomi Fabiyi, which continue to cause public confusion and embarrassment to the Force and to the Presidency.
Upon investigation, where cleared, we demand the immediate and unconditional release of all persons reportedly held in FCID custody in connection with this same matter
They must not be made to pay for their freedom, as the Nigeria Police itself has consistently maintained that bail is free.
Furthermore, the continuous tracking, trailing, monitoring, and planned abduction of others, as heard in several videos from Yomi Fabiyi and his cohorts online, must cease immediately.
If there is any further investigation necessary, the Police should issue formal invitations, as the institution has always been known to do.
Anything outside that is intimidation and a violation of due process.
This is a civic request for clarity, accountability, and due process.
Nigerians deserve transparency and assurance that no citizen will be used to intimidate or harass another under the banner of the Police.

Good evening sir @PoliceNG Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, @NPF_NCCC@FCT_PoliceNG@PoliceNG_CRU@BenHundeyin a young widow and her minor child lives in fear as they listen to their Safety being compromised on Social Media.
We say no to #PolicingbyProxy.
We request an official position of the NPF on this and call for investigation of those behind this intimidation of a young widow.
This is not activism — it’s manipulation.
After the Lagos Coroner’s Inquest on Mohbad’s death warned against falsehoods, Yomi Fabiyi continues to stage arrests live for public attention, spreading unverified “murder” claims already disproven by the court’s findings.
His theatrics have now led to Damola being arrested twice in Lagos by different police commands, and now being held at the homicide division in Abujaon the order of ACP Tarfa’s despite the Ikeja Police Command still in possession of the alleged “evidence” phone.
Two arrests within same state and a transfer to Abuja in the absence of new evidence. No lawful basis.
This duplication of police process shows how misinformation and sensationalism can corrupt justice.
@PoliceNG@LagosPoliceNG@Princemoye1@npf_nccc
please review this urgently. Justice must not be turned into content.

An individual, Yomi Fabiyi, publicly claimed FG ordered the “harmonisation” & transfer of Mohbad’s case to FCID Abuja. Even if is true, such an announcement & fundraising by a private citizen is improper & undermines due process.
Individuals parading as “justice seekers for Mohbad” are publicly boasting about tracking and attempting to abduct his widow and associates.
• One of them, Yomi Fabiyi, has repeatedly made false claims of a “federal directive” and raised money in the name of the Police.
• Persons already under judicial process have been re-arrested and interrogated on irrelevant, invasive questions a flagrant abuse of the court’s authority.
No individual has the constitutional power to “direct” or “harmonise” a criminal case. Only competent legal authorities can do so. Any private person acting as such is usurping state powers.

Good morning @PoliceNG@NPF_NCCC@BenHundeyin another day to remind you that Police still have in custody Ayobami Sadiq Spending in Abuja, and a Young widow with her minor child is being “Tracked” and “Monitored” for abduction! #StopPolicingbyProxy
Somewhere right now, a widow and her child are being ‘monitored’ and ‘trailed’ to be abducted. Do @PoliceNG no longer invites?
We strongly believe police operations are not executed on social media and when they are, something is deeply wrong.
No mother or child should live in fear while the public watches in silence.
This is not just a call for awareness it’s a call for accountability, protection, and justice.
