Most importantly, the stories are based on my own journey learning software development.
Learning JavaScript is finally starting to feel like building real things.

#100DaysOfCode#freeCodeCamp#JavaScript
I almost broke my first DOM project because of 1 character.
I wrote: button.addEventListener("click", myFunction())
That () calls the function immediately. No click needed.
The fix?button.addEventListener("click", myFunction)
One mistake. Hours of confusion. Never forgetting this
The best part?
I copied the project into VS Code and ran it locally using Live Server.
It now exists outside @freeCodeCamp
It feels like a real project.
I just completed the Higher Order Functions & Callbacks section on @freeCodeCamp
37/37 steps. 9 labs. 1 quiz. 1 very tired brain. 🧠
Here’s everything I learned and what almost broke me 🧵👇
Where I stand today:
✅ Variables & Strings
✅ Booleans & Numbers

#JavaScript#Coding
Two days ago, I stopped at the var keyword in my JavaScript studies.
Today, I completed another major study session, and I feel like things are starting to click. 🧵👇

My biggest takeaway today:
Most JavaScript problems follow the same pattern.
Iterate through data
Apply conditions
Transform the result
Return a new structure
The complexity changes, but the process stays surprisingly similar.
