Anambra vows to ban masquerade groups over violent acts

Anambra State has warned masquerade groups to follow government guidelines after reports of violent and disruptive behaviour, including a recent attack in Awgbu. The government said groups who flout the rules may be banned or prosecuted, and some offenders have already been arrested.
