Thank you to all the administrators who pour into your staff everyday. Giving them support, encouragement, and appreciation daily. You lead the right way. I hope your staff appreciates your servant leadership too.
@shawkeb But if you show or read something that has a positive reflection and appropriate content that is LGBTQ+ Example the short scene from the new lightyear movie where the captain marries someone of the same sex. We be considered bad teachers.
@shawkeb Guessing parts of Texas hasn't realized that it's 2022 and being in a Lesbian relationship is okay. We stereotype a straight relationship in schools and show movies that show that as a norm. Like Hercules, Princess and the Frog, or Romeo and Juliet.
@MikeDoney74 I agree with this tweet! We need to increase our requirements as we advance as a civilization to increase the challenges of student's learning. Of course we must make these requirements a reachable thing instead of making it impossible.
maintain their interest in learning. There are plenty of engaging learning applications that can peak a student's interest in learning and enable them to explore more rather then being inside the box.

I've met plenty of teachers who think that technology is hindering our student's learning rather then encouraging it. When I ask why, most response were "they're just in the way, and that kids only want to play games on them." So why not let them play those learning games to
We as teachers are stressed over meeting the state standards that we have been ignoring what our students need to be a successful learner, and often times lose the student's interest in what we're teaching. We should be following these guidelines to help our students.#ParkEdTech
@TraceyKracht One of my favorite things to do to keep the students engaged is taking common interests of all my students and correlating them to my lessons. You can use Fortnite to correlate with alliteration with the town's names, or use cooking for fractions and following directions.
Ah-has from my masters class,
1. Creative ideas are best developed based on the type of environment you're in. Find a place that you're able to share your ideas, like Twitter for example, to help you develop your idea completely by seeing other people's ideas.
@MikeDoney74 Definitely don't want to approach your students with something they're not entirely interested in. We'll get no where with that logic. I agree that we need to build our relationship with our students to encourage them to explore their interests.
@MissTateMidkiff I encourage my students to do the same and to never be too scared to share your ideas because it could be the key to fix a known world issue or you're able to find others with the same idea.
@MissTateMidkiff I relate to your post on a personal level. I would develop a type of idea and it'll be stuck in my head for a long time until I develop into something tangible or noticeable change. Thats why I always have a pen and paper in case an idea comes up.
