@overlandertheb1@andyburnham@scotgov You say “homes”. It’s 4 townhouses. Over time New Town houses switched use from residential, to offices/hotels, back to residential and, in this case, back to a hostel. Hardly radical - although 544 beds does sound dense. It’s a noisy, central, touristy spot. Seems reasonable.
@lesleyIndy1888@OurNicQuotes Doofus? Duffus is a place/surname.
But I’ve never understood why any (adult) should expect the right not be be photographed in public.
@PaddyG67@oranstorrie99 Yes 20/30 secs. But also 3 bookings and a sub. Admittedly, extremely unlikely comeback - Hearts looked burst. But it does happen - Hearts Hibs 4-4. Man U Bayern 2-1. SFA should be honest and acknowledge game was abandonned and just let SPFL get on with punishment (wrist-slap)
@lancelachlan@kaya85kaya Any idea how complicated, costly, and controversial, it would be to assess all UK underlying land values? It would be boom time for lawyers/surveyors, not for Exchequer. The beauty of rates/council tax is everybody can understand roughly what one property is worth versus another
@OmarE1mi He isn't, although I really like Kabore. There's definitely a player there, I think a full preseason, and longer studs/balance training, will do him the world of good.
As I've said, people are still underestimating Jamestown.
Shankland signed a 3 year deal under Joe Savage. It expired last season. Rangers had an agreement with Shankland last season, which was terminated by Martin because Shankland didn't work in his system.
Meanwhile, Hearts had just appointed McInnes, who wanted continuity and to keep Shankland. We cobbled together a deal, and part of that included a release clause. This gave Hearts a year to find a replacement. This really isn't as bad a situation as people seem to think.
Nothing added for Celtic’s ET Sub & 3 bookings? Nobody’s saying Hearts were about to hit back with 2 goals in 2 mins (although I do remember it happening against Hibs). SFA should stop squirming and acknowledge the game stopped early and let SPFL dish out their weakest punishment
Ignorance Over Scotland - what chance have you got?
The key piece here is "time decided by the referee"
The SFA statement confirmed:
1. the 8m had elapsed
2. the referee called the end of the game
he can add whatever additional additional time he feels - he added 8 secs
@FangleBrain@WingsScotland That’s what I mean by the SFA trying hard to avoid saying the obvious. Maybe the clock doesn’t stop for player celebrations. But fans on the pitch celebrations?? And has Robertson said what time he intended to add for the Celtic Sub and 3 bookings in ET? Looks like an abandonment
@FangleBrain@WingsScotland Even allowing for my maroon tinted specs, it does look like the SFA are trying very hard to avoid saying the very obvious - the game was abandoned/ended before its proper time. Albeit by only 2 minutes. Not sure why though - can’t see the SPFL dishing out a 0-3 punishment
@WingsScotland This is all getting a bit mental. Do you really think multiple people at SFA and SPFL are lying? To what end? For what purpose? Let’s apply common sense here it’s just getting crazy. Celtic will rightly be punished, Mcinnes accepted defeat. It’s done.
I do wish people would stop trying to compare Kilmarnock’s “pitch invasion” when winning the Championship to last week’s shambles at Celtic Park. When the fans came on the Rugby Park pitch it was after the full time whistle. The game was FINISHED unlike last weekend!
