Earlier today in a partnership meeting with Mombasa County team led by the County Secretary and Chief Officer for Youth. We agreed to establish a Technical Working Group for Youth, promote Ajira Digital Training and conduct annual Youth Professional Forum and the Blue Economy.

UWEZO fund is one of revolving funds once taken it has to refunded for others to benefit. However since 2014 a total of KES 23Mi has been disbursed only Kes 400K returned. For women fund Kes 20M disbursed and Kes 20M returned.@KECOSCE @DYE254 @amkeniwakenya @OmbimaWillis

Yesterday I joined Matuga Youth at celebrating International Peace Day at Matuga Youth Empowerment Centre. We also launched a program to establish Community Amani Clubs in partnership with Amani Clubs Kwale, SambaSports, YADE, JAC, AHF-K etc. Over 60 attended the function

Yesterday I joined Kinango MP Hon. Benjamin Tayari in issuing Uwezo Fund cheques worth over KES 5M to 49 groups. I encouraged Youth to invest the funds wisely and repay and also to join TVETs for skills training.

Earlier today I met Mr. Wachira from AHF-K and discussed partnership towards supporting menstrual hygiene among female Youth and mental health programmes in Coast Region.

Today, I signed an MOU with the CEO @KAM_kenya. This partnership will empower the Youth in Enterprise Development;
Technical and Vocational Skills Development;Research and Advocacy; & Promotion of Locally Manufactured Products.
