Honestly, Yamato is an excellent litmus test for whether or not someone actually understand literary devices, and have reading comprehension in general of this manga.

The entirety of One Piece material in Japan identify Yamato as a woman every chance they get. Oda HIMSELF drew Yamato for the One Piece Heroines card pack promotional. Its not even just a few things here and there, there's an embarrassing amount of official merchandise that demolishes the trans Yamato agenda.

From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist.
