Every time I see a tweet that involves Rango in any way, it is my religious obligation to retweet it for you all to see, so I hope that you all hold me to that promise.
if anything here is misogynistic it’s how y’all devolve these characters down to their relationship with men and millie is the most egregious example
also notice in these discussions that no one ever brings up the misogyny that the women creators have to face on a daily basis

Unlike Man of Steel and BvS, Aquaman was a lot more fun, tongue-in-cheek, and purposefully silly. It literally has an octopus playing the drums and characters riding giant seahorses into battle, and James Wan wasn't even trying to hide how ridiculous it all was. He was clearly making Aquaman like a live-action Saturday morning cartoon and fully embracing the character's inherent campiness. Snyder couldn't even do something this ridiculously absurd without trying to frame it as some grand, self-serious mythological statement about gods walking among men.
That's how fundamentally different their approaches are. So what exactly did Snyder contribute to Aquaman that was so significant you're giving him credit for the movie's success? He didn't even receive a writing or producing credit. At this point, you're basically crediting him for casting Jason Momoa and having a few conversations with James Wan and that's about it 😂
