How durable is the blood pressure-lowering effect of renal denervation?
In this pooled analysis of 2,137 patients from the SPYRAL Clinical Program, radiofrequency renal denervation was associated with sustained reductions in office and ambulatory blood pressure through 3 years, with nearly 90% of patients experiencing a clinical benefit and few adverse events.

An individual participant data meta-analysis of the SYNTAX, PRECOMBAT, NOBLE and EXCEL trials presented by Brian Bergmark showed no significant difference in all-cause mortality between DES PCI and CABG over 10-year follow-up in patients with left main coronary artery disease suitable for revascularisation.

The European Valve Durability TAVI Registry highlighted the long-term performance of TAVI. The incidence of moderate or severe structural valve deterioration (SVD) during long-term follow-up was relatively low, with severe SVD being even rarer than moderate SVD. SVD occurred more frequently in patients treated with older-generation intra-annular valves and in those with small-sized valves.
