@number1indahood@SenBillCassidy But they certainly aren’t giving it to the government for the Ponzi scheme. My guess is that employers are already paying it and would be happy to share it with employees..
@JuliaMowervej7@SenBillCassidy Yeah, thanks. I offered a proposal. It is a difficult situation. This is a ponzi scheme and people will have to make sacrifices. I'm willing to give up whatever I put in to avoid taxing my kids to death.
@clawrence Looks like you're getting it from the Post-Boomers (Millenials) for your opinion. I agree with you that the Post-Boomers should suck it up, but I'm interested in knowing when we end this Ponzi scam. How much tax is too much? At some point, the tax will simply be too much.
@LAMillennialMom@Catholicizm1 They are paying now....right? When someone gets hired, the employer has to add or include the 6.2% matching for the ponzi taxes. Can you imagine how much better our economy would be with an instant 12.4% increase?!?
@pennyemmpppppp@Catholicizm1 All of that could be mean tested....it's just proposal....but it has gotten some attention. The last line of my commentary was that Congress had to reduce spending to make it all work. The bottom line is government doesn't do this well and we need to get rid of this ponzi scam.
@scasfar@Catholicizm1 I see your point but this whole thing will require sacrifice. I offered a modest proposal. Maybe not the best. I'm sure someone under 35 will complain they have to plan their retirement. A 65+ might get less than expected from means testing.
@MariajoseHdlg Correct. This is the most REGRESSIVE tax scheme in America. And it services the biggest Ponzi scheme in the history of the world. Thanks for sharing.
@BasedMikeLee I’m grateful we are having this discussion but it is too late. The only way to finally end this deception is to let the fund go broke WITHOUT new taxes on workers. The 2034, 22% cut is the only way older people will consider options to free workers from this Ponzi scam!
@Victoriawrites2 Your story is inspiring and we are grateful to have heard from you. Either on X or anywhere else, you (and I) will always face criticism and negativity for having accepted the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Consider for a moment the pioneers and early Saints who faced this too.
@RiseZion777 Unless the changes include installation of a giant red light bulb (visible to everyone in the chapel) and a pad at the podium that can administer a subtle electric shock where you stand, all connected to a switch operated by the bishopric, I'm not interested in any changes.
@TruthHolder2023 A great list of amazing scriptural ideas answered by the Restoration. I'm also interested in how someone might explain the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32). - Why does the faithful son(covenant keeper) get the promise of "..all that [the father] ha[s] is [his]"?
