Good morning everyone.
I've been hearing a lot about Selar, Nestuge, and similar platforms for selling digital products lately. I'll be honest, I don't know much about how they work yet, but I'm seriously looking into it and I'd love some guidance.
A bit of context on where I'm coming from:
I've spent years teaching Airtable, Zapier, https://t.co/97wz0oL66w, GoHighLevel, Softr, n8n and more. About 3,000 students so far and they tell me I explain things well (I'll take it lol). But I'm stepping back from live teaching for now. As much as I love it, it takes a lot out of you.
What I'd like to do instead is put together very detailed, self-paced courses on these platforms and sell them properly. Let people learn on their own time without me having to run every session live.
This is new territory for me though, so I'm reaching out to people who've actually walked this road.
If you've used Selar, Nestuge, or any similar platform to sell courses or digital products, I'd really appreciate your thoughts:
- How was the setup process for you?
- What kind of results have you seen?
- What would you do differently if you were starting over?
- Any advice at all for someone just getting into this?
I'd also love to hear from a few people I've been watching do this really well:
@mxochai@egbokavictory_@hillary_odogwu@nestuge
You guys are already on these platforms and doing great with your products. I've seen the work and the results and I have a lot of respect for what you've built. I know your DMs are probably flooded and your schedules are packed, so I didn't want to add to that. I'm putting this out here instead so you can respond whenever it's convenient for you. Whether it's a quick piece of advice, a DM when you get a free moment, or even a link to a course or resource you've created on this topic, honestly anything at all would mean a lot. No pressure whatsoever.
And to everyone else seeing this, if you could please repost, I'd really appreciate it. The more people this reaches, the better the chance that someone with real experience selling courses on these platforms shares what they've learned. Even a sentence or two in the replies goes a long way.
Thank you in advance. I'm all ears.
She got her first cake from me last year May and since then, she’s never looked back ,always choosing us every time she needs a cake🥹
This year, I got to bake her birthday cake again and seeing last year’s vs this year’s reminds me how much love and growth this brand holds 🤍
Ever wondered how some people just keep showing up?
Keep hustling, striving, breaking new ground?
It’s not always discipline.
It’s emotions.
Some learnt skills to fuel their pride.
Some sent 30 emails a day because poverty was louder.
Some opened laptops daily, sending proposals with 0 views because feeling useless hurt more.
Everyone talks about "finding your why."
Truth is, most people can’t find one that sounds reasonable.
If I could hand you a why, it’d be this:
Do it so you don’t feel that way you hate feeling anymore.
Do it so you never open your phone, see someone winning, and whisper, "What am I even doing with my life?"
Every emotion you feel should drive and deepen your purpose.

Myth: Good design is too expensive
Look at this ad. You instantly trust the product right? That's what bad design costs you: customers, trust, and authority.
Good design isn't an expense; it helps you generate profit.
Is your brand paying the high cost of bad design? Send a DM
