@CrownprinceCom2 Point of correction . Igboho
is visiting only the Yoruba speaking part of Kogi state. Out of the 21 Local Government areas in Kogi state, 5 are Yoruba speaking while the sixth Local Government area(( Lokoja Local Govt) is made up of a mixed ethnic group including the Yorubas.
@oil_shaeikh@Waspapping_ Since Fulani bandits have been raiding our rural communities and highways in Kogi state kidnapping our people and releasing the videos of the kidnapped victims online you have not said anything. Now you are weeping because some 'innocent' bandits have been eliminated.
@TijjaniImam1@oil_shaeikh Don't mind the hypocrite . Since the Fulani bandits have been killing our people in Kogi state and releasing video of kidnapped victims he has not said anything .
@TijjaniImam1@oil_shaeikh Though I am not a native Hausa speaker but by virtue of my being born in Zaria at least I know the meaning of 'mayakanmu a cikin daji '(our fighters in the forest) . So it is only a bandit sympathiser that will use such words to describe those satanic bandits.
@Naijarealtruth@imakun122@One__Neo__Eon Kwara state is a multi ethnic state with 16 Local Government areas of which 12 are Yoruba speaking, 2 are Nupe speaking ( Edu Local Government and Patigi Local Government) and the remaining 2 are Baruba speaking ( Kiama Local Government and Baruten Local Government).
@sadiqueTruth@imakun122 2. Politics is a game of numbers and that was the reason the two 2023 Kogi state gubernatorial candidates of Yoruba extraction namely Dino Melaye and Leke Abejide could not make any meaningful impact in the election.
@sadiqueTruth@imakun122 1.I am a Yoruba from Kogi state . The Yorubas are the third largest ethnic group in Kogi state after the Igalas who make up about 40% of the population and the Ebiras who are the second largest ethnic group . We have not produced Governor because of our minority status /2
@AladukeOyenike@imakun122 Out of the 16 Local Government areas in Kwara state 12 are Yoruba speaking , 2 are Nupe speaking ( Edu Local Govt and Patigi Local Government ) and 2 are Baruba speaking ( Kiama Local Govt and Baruten Local Government.).
Observation:
Letter issued and received on 5th December 2025 but bearing NBA seal issued to expire in March 2027.
As a lawyer and member of NBA, NBA seal are issued yearly to expire the following year. The NBA seal issued to expire in March 2027 can only be produced and issued in January 2026 and could not have been attached to a letter dated December 2025.
This raises a serious issue of forgery and backdated letter. It can equally put the concerned lawyer in a serious professional misconduct trouble before the Legal Practitioners’ Disciplinary Committee.
I hope @NigBarAssoc and @afamosigwe can take note and look into this.
@adeosunm@KwankwasoRM@PeterObi Kwankwaso has already made up his mind to defect to NDC in order to enable him become the vice presidential candidate of Peter Obi. He is only issuing this release to justify his action later in the week when he will defect.
@Aladay7@dawisu 3. If you see any Okun person claiming he is not Yoruba, that means he does not know the difference between a dialect of a language ( Okun ) and the main language ( Yoruba ) The Yoruba language has many dialects of which Okun is one of them.
@Aladay7@dawisu 2. My surname 'Ogungbemi' is enough proof that my ancestors worship the Yoruba God of Iron called 'Ogun' and that my ancestral root is Ile-Ife . The inclusion of the Yorubas in the North ( later Kogi state) by the British colonialist does not change our Yoruba identity ./ 2
@Aladay7@dawisu 1. 'Okun' is a Yoruba word meaning 'vitility' or ' stength' . We greet ourselves by saying 'Okun oooo' which means 'strength to you' . We are a sub- Yoruba group such as Ijebus, Egbas ( Abeokuta) Ekitis, Ilajes , Ijeshas , Ibolos ( Kwara ) , Igbomina ( Kwara) etc / 2
@Don4Boat@_dinomelaye I am from the Yoruba speaking part of Kogi state where Dino hails from . The name Asaju or Asiwaju (a leader) is a very common surname among our people . There are some Yoruba surnames which doubles as a name and also as a title such as 'Balogun' ( a war commander)......
@ollextee@AlexOkeyObasy@_dinomelaye I am from Kogi state . There are many families in Okun /Yoruba speaking part of Kogi state where Dino hails from bearing Asaju/ Asiwaju especially as their surname .
