I didn’t want to share this story but I felt it would minister to someone.
A little over a month ago, I had just put Henry to bed and I needed some extra cash, so I was like, let me go do Uber or Lyft for a couple of hours.
Honestly, I didn’t want to leave my house, but I really needed that money for something pressing.
I sat down on my patio and turned on both apps, waiting for the first profitable ride I could get.
About 5–10 minutes later, I got a ride.
The pickup was less than a mile from my house, and from what I could see on the app, the ride was supposed to be pretty short too. I could even see the store the rider was going to.
I drove down to the pickup spot and found a couple with their son.
They were Black, and my first thought was, these people are probably Africans.
I greeted them and confirmed the name on the app.
The husband said he had forgotten his phone in the house, so he went back inside to get it.
While I was waiting, I asked the woman, “Are you guys Nigerians?”
She said yes with so much excitement.
I was excited too.
I said, “I didn’t know I had Nigerians living this close to me.”
The husband came back, and his wife told him that I was Nigerian too. She was Yoruba, and before long, I started speaking Yoruba with them.
I eventually had to tell them, “I’m actually a Calabar boy. I was just born and grew up in Lagos.”
Then I found out something that completely changed the whole ride.
They had just moved into the country.
And not only had they just moved into the country, they had just moved into Colorado.
They were literally starting their lives from scratch.
Something in me just said, this ride is no longer about Uber.
So I closed my apps for the day.
I helped them get to the store.
The next day, I took the day off and took them around town to help them get mattresses and some of the things they needed to start getting settled.
Then I remembered I had a Honda CR-V sitting at home that I wasn’t using.
I had just bought a new battery for it and was actually thinking about selling it.
So I asked the husband if he wanted it.
He said yes.
I gave him the car.
I also gave them other things I had around my house that I thought could help them get their lives started here.
And honestly, I didn’t do all of this because I had everything figured out or because I had money to throw around.
I did it because I know what it feels like to need help.
I know what it feels like to be in a place where you’re trying to figure life out and one person’s kindness can make a difference you never forget.
They got into my Uber that night expecting a ride to a store.
I got a ride request expecting to make some extra money.
Neither of us knew that we were about to meet people from the same country, living in the same state, just a few minutes away from each other.
Life is funny like that.
Sometimes you think you’re going out to make money, and life puts somebody in your path who needs something completely different from you.
You may think you’re helping someone for a day, but you may be giving them a memory they’ll carry for the rest of their lives.
And you know why I’m sharing this story?
Because sometimes we get so caught up in asking, “What do I get out of this?” that we forget to ask, “What can I do for someone?”
I don’t know what that family will remember most about their first days in Colorado.
Maybe the ride.
Maybe the mattress.
Maybe the car.
But I hope they remember that when they arrived in a new country and didn’t have much, they met somebody who saw them as more than passengers on an Uber ride.
They met a fellow Nigerian who decided to help.
And maybe that’s the whole point.
You don’t always need to be rich to change someone’s life.
Sometimes, you just need to notice that someone needs help and decide not to look the other way.

These guys has made sure that eating "Healthy" is a death wish....
I remember Pastor Chris would teach us to keep away from these poisonous fruits especially the GMOs... Pastor Chris said they're preserving the apple at the cost of preserving your life, the fruits you're taking was designed to last longer than you.
As a Christian, how would you explain this: if God is perfectly holy and cannot dwell with sin, how does the Holy Spirit live in believers who still struggle with sin?
DAVID WAS ANOINTED… AND THEN HE WAITED.
That’s the part people don’t like to talk about.
In 1 Samuel 16, David is anointed king by Samuel.
Oil is poured.
God chooses him.
The calling is confirmed.
But here’s what most people miss:
He didn’t become king the next day.
Not the next week.
Not the next year.
It was about 15 years before David ever sat on the throne.
And those 15 years weren’t comfortable.
They were process.
After the anointing, David went right back to the field.
Then to serving.
Then to war.
Then to running for his life.
Because the same man he was called to replace…
Saul… was trying to kill him.
Think about that.
David was chosen by God…
but hunted by man.
He had the promise…
but not the position.
He had the oil…
but not the throne.
And here’s where it gets even deeper.
There were moments when David had the opportunity to kill Saul.
1 Samuel 24
David is in a cave… Saul walks in… and David could have ended everything right there.
But he doesn’t.
Why?
Because David understood something many people today don’t:
Just because you’re called… doesn’t mean you skip process.
David says:
“I will not stretch out my hand against the Lord’s anointed.”
Even though Saul was wrong.
Even though Saul was chasing him.
Even though Saul was trying to kill him.
David refused to take what God promised…
out of God’s timing.
Now let’s bring this to today.
We have people who go live one time…
and call it a ministry.
Start a page…
and call it a calling.
Get a few views…
and think they’re ready to lead people.
No process.
No pruning.
No character development.
No submission.
No wilderness.
Just platform.
But here’s the truth:
God doesn’t just call you… He prepares you.
The Hebrew word for anointing is מָשַׁח (mashach)
which means to set apart for a purpose.
But being set apart…
does not mean being sent out immediately.
There is a gap between anointing and assignment.
And that gap is called:
Process.
David wasn’t just being delayed.
He was being developed.
In the wilderness, he learned:
• How to trust God
• How to lead without a title
• How to fight battles without recognition
• How to honor God even when leadership was corrupt
Because if God would’ve given David the throne too early…
he wouldn’t have had the character to sustain it.
And this is the problem with today’s generation:
We want to be seen…
before we’re ready.
We want influence…
without integrity.
We want a voice…
without having been tested.
But God is not impressed by your platform.
He’s looking at your process.
Because what you build fast without God…
you will lose faster without Him.
So before you call it ministry…
Ask yourself:
Have I been processed?
Have I been pruned?
Have I been tested in private?
Have I learned obedience?
Because David didn’t just become king because he was anointed.
He became king because he survived the process.
I actually pray for my patients
When the prognosis is bad, I pray their hearts to hope
When it's end stage and terminal, I pray our conversations lead to light
I have a group of Christian doctors where we deliberately meet to pray for patients especially bad cases
Few months ago, we had a terrible case the best of hands didn't know the way forward and the patient had given up, ready to pull the plug.
Following that rounds, I took some time in the call room to really pray for him so the Holy Spirit instructed I visit, so I stayed back after work in order to visit in the night
That night I came into the ward, had some good gist that consentingly led to conversations around faith, hope and the person of Jesus and we basically held a full blown service.
Right that night, it just appeared a new burst of hope and direction for everyone.
Earlier this week, I saw him from a distance walk out of the outpatient department with his two legs and my heart was merry!
I may not be able to go to church every time because of work but I understand that I am God's workmanship created for good works in the health sector and for me? I was called!
Pewbeam is live 🎉
This was just a dream, a dream I didn’t even know was possible—but I decided to pursue it anyway. Today, that dream is now a reality. We have a desktop app (Windows and macOS—this weekend) that can do all of this and even more. Over the last six months, I’ve pushed myself and my team hard, and I’ve seen people become hopeful and genuinely blessed by this product. I’ve received strong support from pastors, church members, techies, and several media houses and reporters. It has been a great honor to spend myself on something worthwhile.
We’ve built an AI-native presentation app that displays relevant scriptures on screen in under 80 ms, without needing a volunteer. We’re starting with scriptures, but we’re growing into a comprehensive presentation software, with slides launching next month.
From testing @pewbeam_ai in churches over the last four weeks, pastors have been able to focus on what matters instead of juggling or micromanaging the media team while preaching. Church members have been able to follow their pastor’s references in real time and take better notes. In the words of a member from one of the test churches: “Pewbeam changed the way I follow sermons in church completely.” This is the kind of impact I see Pewbeam having on people’s faith and on how church and worship are done.
Pewbeam’s mission is to ensure the Church is not left behind in the AI era. We’re starting with this application, with many more to come in the next few months. We’ll keep working with stakeholders in the Christian faith, collect feedback, and build tools that better support discipleship. And unlike previous waves of technology, I believe we can be among the first movers in this AI revolution.
With all that said, the final build of the app is ready, and we’re launching for public download on February 25, 2026. The app has a generous free tier for small churches and fellowships, and a paid plan (location-based pricing) that unlocks unlimited access to all features.
If you’ve been following this journey, I appreciate you, and I assure you it will be worth it.
Please download, subscribe, and use in your church.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE.
Dear parents,
If you have a child who is in their teenage ages, please start observing their tongue.
Especially your daughters, once you start noticing constant colour on their tongue ranging from blue, yellow, green and orange colour especially, just know that your daughter is already into a drug called molly.
Molly gives excitement,it unnecessarily gives joy like early madness. It feels like someone is tickling you.
Once Molly starts manifesting, any man who touches your daughter who has just finished taking it can sex her sumptuously.
Campuses and even the streets are dens of Molly currently.
A lot of female students are selling it as a business.
Molly (MDMA) Illicit Substance
Molly (MDMA) is an illegal drug and its price is not regulated by formal markets.
In one account a dose of "Molly" in Nigeria was reported to cost approximately ₦25,000 in 2022.
Today,it is cheaper and available on the streets and campuses at ₦2k,₦5k and ₦10k.
Method of consumption, some lick it like regular vitamin C,others grind it,mold it and drop it on their tongue gradually and some dissolve it into a bottle of water.
It is ravaging young girls and boys currently.
The painful thing is that once your body gets adapted to Molly, you will start looking for other drugs like barky or Crack to improve its potency before you say,Jack, your child will become a former human being.
Let us raise our voices and fight this collectively.
We can moderate it,we can help some of them out of it.
Just visit the psychiatric sections today, your girlfriend may be there but you think she is not answering your calls.
Thank you and God continue to bless us and keep guilding our youths....
Drug abuse is terrible.
C O P I E D .
As part of our ongoing beta program, Pewbeam was deployed for use during Apostle Selman’s teaching at the Koinonia School of Ministry programme in the UK this week.
Nestlé has recalled these baby products.
So before you mix that next bottle for your baby, read this thread carefully as it concerns their well being.
If you feed your baby NAN, SMA, or Alfamino, a toxic bacteria has been found in some batches. And you might have it in your house right now.
You see, Nestlé has issued a massive global recall for several baby formulas (products in the image above) because they found a toxin called Cereulide (from Bacillus cereus bacteria) in some batches.
This toxin causes severe nausea and vomiting in babies. And the scary part is that boiling water does NOT kill it. The toxin is heat-resistant. So even if you prepare the formula correctly, if the powder itself is contaminated, your baby is at risk.
Now, NAFDAC has not released a specific alert for Nigeria yet. BUT our markets are porous. And people import ‘UK SMA’ and ‘Imported NAN’ every single day. So if you buy your formula from supermarkets that stock imported goods, or you bought it abroad, you need to check the last stock to see if your tin look like any of those products.
If yes, go to Nestle’s UK Website (SMA & Alfamino) and Nestle’s MENA Website (NAN) to verify if your batch does not fall under the recalled ones.
If your batch code matches the ones on that list, please DO NOT USE IT.
And please, don't keep this information to yourself.
If you have a friend, sister, or neighbor who uses SMA, NAN, or Alfamino, retweet this or send this to them NOW.
You might be saving a baby from poisoning today.
I pray this goes viral 🙏🏾
