Welcomed H.E President @WilliamsRuto in Mandera as he commenced his much-anticipated three-day development tour of Northern Kenya.

This significant visit marks the beginning of a series of engagements in Mandera, Wajir and Garissa counties, focusing on development initiatives, national unity, addressing regional challenges and enhancing government-community relations.

During his first stop, President Ruto inspected the Mandera water supply and sewerage infrastructure projects aimed at addressing water scarcity in the area. The project is expected to significantly improve access to safe and reliable water for Mandera residents, benefiting over 12,000 households.

Further, President Ruto emphasized the importance of unity and security. In the wake of the recent abduction of five chiefs by Al-Shabaab, the President reassured residents of the government's commitment to their safety.

The President's Northern Kenya tour will continue with visits to Wajir and Garissa, where he will launch more development projects and engage with local communities.
