Want to have your mind blown?
In 1971, the median household income was $9,030, or 220 ounces of gold.
In 2025, it was $87,460, or just 25 ounces of gold.
Your paycheck went up 10x.
Measured in gold, it fell 88%.
To earn what the median household earned in 1971, you’d need about $890,000 per year today.
That’s what fiat debasement looks like.
Today I felt fckin old.
Went into a sbux and asked the young lady at the cashier, “Can you break this 20 for me?”
She looked at me hella confused.
I’m serious guys. I discombobulated her brain with 7 words.
She had to call the manager and ask what “breaking a 20” meant.
The manager luckily knew, but said they couldn’t because they didn’t have enough cash.
So now I’m standing there with money, at a cash register, feeling like I brought a fucking traveller’s cheque.
Nobody carries cash anymore and apparently the vocabulary is going with it.
I’m 32 bro. How am I already speaking to the youth in ancient riddles?
LeBron James was born to a 16-year-old single mother in Akron, Ohio. He bounced between friends just to have a place to sleep. Then this country handed him everything.
It gave him over $500 million in NBA salary and over $1 billion more in endorsements and business deals. Forbes puts his net worth at $1.4 billion. He was the first active NBA player in history to become a billionaire.
And when the national anthem plays for the country that made all of that possible, he can't give it two minutes of respect.
No hand over his heart. No standing still. He's goofing around, flailing his arms, flapping around, pretending to shoot a basketball, doing literally anything except honoring the flag that turned a kid from Akron into a billionaire.
That's not a protest. That's not a statement. That's just disrespect.
Millions of Americans work their whole lives and never see a fraction of what this country gave him. Men and women died so he could play a game for a living in front of sold-out arenas. The least he could do is stand there and act like it means something.
@CongruentAlways@elonmusk@Tesla_Optimus@Tesla I’ll save you some time. The free market is the most efficient way to decide who gets what. There is no better way to deal with scarcity. Our price system sends signals to producers that are very valuable.
I keep seeing "Beth Dutton for Press Secretary" all over my feed.
I'm flattered. Truly.
But I don't do briefings. I do reckonings.
And the first reporter who asks a stupid question is getting a one-way ticket to the train station. 🚬🥃🇺🇸
He will not say that Israel has a right to exist. He will not say that Israel has a right to exist. How can a Christian or a Jew vote for this man to be a US Senator. Cmon Michigan. Step up and let your voices be heard! @A1Policy@RJC@AIPAC
Abdul El-Sayed on 2A: "When they promised the right to bear arms, they had muskets. So, yeah, everyone should have equal rights to a musket."
If the Founding Fathers meant musket, they would have written "musket." COME AND TAKE IT 🇺🇸
