@TheViewFromLL2@proofcrimepod I am relistening to @proofcrimepod Season 1. This case was so tragic in so many ways. It should be a bit easier to listen to now that I know Lee and Cain are finally free. Once again, Susan, you have done amazing, life-changing work.
@BetsyShirley As I understand it, using a double space after a full stop increased readability when using a typewriter but as technology changed, the double space became unnecessary (with the caveat that I do not know whether it is still useful for some people).
Got a very small cut on one of my #CRPS affected fingers tonight. It's going about as well as you'd expect, which is to say my hand is swelling up, the skin has gone extra shiny and I'm being treated to a creative & wide variety of intense pain sensations. #ChronicIllness#RSD
@hvrchcksbtch @bennessb Oh, wow. Yes. I might have a wee bump or knock and it feels as though it is bruised but there's no mark. I've had that for as long as I can remember, long before I developed CRPS.
@winedarkme It is still only draft guidance but if nothing changes, then yes. As I'm sure you saw it would only be for adults with at least 4 migraine days each month & where at least 3 previous preventive treatments have failed (incl failed or contra-indicated botox). That's how I read it
@sickandboring @undercafeinated In the UK, I have been referred to a specific specialist by my GP when I requested it and explained to my GP why I wanted to see that specific person.
Last night I whacked my CRiPSy wrist into the corner of the opened top of a cardboard box. The corner went right into the most sensitive part, where I had the precipitating surgery & I've been flaring since. Yes, that's right, a cardboard box kicked my ass #CRPS#RSD#ChronicPain
Disabled people I need your help! I'm working on an #AccessibilityInTheatres project and I want to hear from disabled people, whether you're a regular theatre goer, working in the industry or never been! Please take part in my survey & RT! https://t.co/RRZOoAEjwo
@bennessb Having said that, so far for me, everything I've wanted to try has been available on the NHS. I've also been able to choose my doctors on the NHS to my satisfaction. For example, I attend a pain clinic that is not my local one because it is better suited so I requested it.
@bennessb Comparing what's available here (UK) with what's available to someone in the US who can afford available treatments, it is important to remember that we also have private healthcare here, in addition to the NHS. Some treatments not on NHS are available privately.
